My uncle at Bethel goes camping with my aunt in the Adirondacks. They get scheduled holidays, if I recall correctly.

Any Dave Matthews Band Fans ?? Your favorite CD's or Songs by Him ??
by flipper ini have enjoyed seeing this musician explode upon the music scene in the last 15 years or so.
his mix of blues, jazz, rock & roll with great musicians playing uncommon instruments seen in a rock band - make his music all the more interesting !
here are some of my favorite cd's and songs by him and his band .

I used to be a huge DMB fan, I've seen them in concert 6 times, but for some reason my musical taste has drifted. I'll still pop in a CD once in a while, but that time in my life has passed.

HOW ABOUT THIS FOR A CONSPIRACY THEORY!?
by Gill ini was surprised to find that charles taze russell, of the russell family line (of course) was reportedly part of the setting up of the skull and bones society.. i have read many refutes that ct was a 33 degree mason but, let's leave that as a possibility along with his 13 bloodlines of the illuminati link and consider this scenario as a possible and worrying possible conspiracy theory.. fritz springmeier and some others (again all holding suspension of our disbelief in control here for a few moments, please), commented on the setting up of internement style camps around the united states and some pictures and sites are to be found on the net.. now, there are various 'christian groups' all anticipating the 'time of the end'.
the jehovah's witnesses, for example are expecting to be persecuted and then 'saved' by god.
they anticipate 'the end' at any time.

It'd make a cool novel or summer blockbuster, but has zero chance of ever happening.
Look at China - it tries to quell one lousy little upstart province and suddenly the whole world starts crapping all over its national policies. And that's with the full weight of the most populous nation on earth with a rigid one-party government where dissenters face "re-education".
Yet you expect the United (f*ck yeah, freedom!) States to successfully pull off something so massive without the world taking note?

The First 30 Years of Jesus' Life...
by Nosferatu in...is a big blur.
he was obviously drunk for those 30 years.

I always wondered if Jesus choked the chicken as a teenager and then swore it off ofter being baptized or if he was so perfect he could control his roving hands 24/7 all through puberty.

Listen to some gangsta rap and/or death metal, watch a really violent horror movie, play some violent videogames, smoke some weed, get a tattoo or extra piercing, have oral sex with someone, donate blood, eat blood sausage, question the faithful and discreet slave(tm), form an independent bible study group, attend a lecture on evolution, buy a handgun, go hunting, buy a two-seater car, dye your hair green and get a mohawk, buy a ouija board, make friends with a gay person, sleep in on a saturday morning and watch cartoons, go out for drinks with your co-workers after work, join an amateur sports team, etc.

How, and how often do you bathe your Pet?
by ohiocowboy indo you have a set schedule to bathe your pet?
does it just get the hose outside, or a nice home spa treatment?
i bathe my dog about once a month or so.

My dog is peculiar in that he has no "doggy" smell whatsoever so he only needs a bath if he's rolled in something, which happened to be last night when my brother and I went fishing and he discovered something incredibly foul to anoint himself with.
Including yesterday I've bathed him maybe twice in the last three years, not counting the times he goes swimming in the creek when we go up north. -

profanity
by janitorforlife inmy disfellowshipped dad told me leaving "the truth" had not been good for me as i used too much profanity and liked to drink.
when i first became "free" i guess i went overboard with profanity and enjoyed the freedom to go to bars if i wanted.
they were novelties.

Sorry changeling, that one's an urban legend too.
Wiki:
"There are several urban-legend false etymologies postulating an acronymic origin for the word. None of these acronyms was ever heard before the 1960s, according to the authoritative lexicographical work, The F-Word, and thus are backronyms. In any event, the word fuck has been in use far too long for some of these supposed origins to be possible." -

Then you're fighting a lost cause. It's only by planting the seeds of outright REBELLION that he's going to have a running shot at escape.
Give that kid some metal, dammit! When he see it confiscated he'll start to wonder why. Oh yeah, make sure to give him a good set of noise-canceling headphones too so he can listen to it as much as possible before it gets binned. There's nothing like the power of heavy metal to rouse the heart of a young man.
Hehe, I sound like a stereotypical internet apostate. They could use this post at a convention. ;)
(edit) I just thought of an even better idea, get him Guitar Hero II and III for xbox360 or Playstation, those are loaded with awesome metal and they're "radio edits" to make them pass the "E" for everyone family rating. Plus there's a Guitar Hero: Metallica pack coming out soon. -

(Note: these MUST be listened to on a good stereo system at very high volume. When your ears start bleeding turn it down one notch and that's the acceptable volume.)
