That's great. It has to be so much easier going thru this transition with someone by your side.

Welcome Doctor. How do you feel about Catherine Tate? I'm not happy about her appearance. I'm sure she'll be funny - but she's no Rose.

Need help with MIL
by TweetieBird ina few weeks ago she asked if we still believed it was jehovah's organization.
i hadn't heard from her until this morning.
i asked her to show me from the bible only where it says that this is j's organization.

Tweetie - I had a very similar conversation with my parents a couple days ago. I couldn't help snickering a couple times because I knew that no matter what I said, they would have a canned response. It really is frustrating. I guess this is why I was never good in the Field Misery - I'm not good at convincing people of things they dont want to know. These tips you guys are providing are helpful.

My name was chosen because of my recent interest in evolution. And as a protest to the common false teaching by creationists that Transitionial Fossils (missing links) have not been found. Or maybe a psychyatrist would say that I am myself in a transition period and feel like a smelly ape.
My avatar was chosen as a half-man half-monkey by doing a goole image search.
Besides - everyone likes monkeys.

Welcome superslave. Since you just told us you're in the UK, you might as well set that in your profile so you get the lovely union jack under your avatar.

Why the Watchtowers "War" argument is totally bogus
by drew sagan infrom my own personal experience the watchtowers position on war always appeared to be one of the most difficult issues to navigate.
a number of times when i was first leaving the wts i spoke with jws who all used this argument to show me how "wrong" i was about the "truth".
while i knew the watchtowers arguments where wrong, i had a very difficult time figuring out exactly why it was wrong.

I see your point. But it would at least be nice to be able to knock down the claim that they are unique in this position. If I knew of another religion that didn't go to war (ok, I'm stupid) then I could have gotten to the next step of the debate.
