what is it about flies?
i built a wildlife garden that is now thriving and you'd think the flies would be grateful - but what do they do, they keep biting my bald head that's what!
i mean, after my recent illness you'd think they'd take pity on me but no, they insist on biting my pate.

*YUCK* I'd hate to have them. I have NOTHING where I live now. 3rd level is a plus too. I have seen garter snakes though where I used to live. *ICK* My son was trying to catch one and after he did I told him, "Now smell your hands!" HE ALMOST THREW-UP and hasn't touched one since.

lately, i've seen more than a few unhappy couples go their own way and do their own thing.
one guy i know regularly dates women only on friday nights but comes home to his wife the rest of the time.
my impression is she doesn't want to know what he's doing------just as long as he comes home to her.. i know a state senator's wife who has 2 kids and she's miserable with her politician/lawyer husband but in public they look like the perfect couple.
Twice, but they were only temp. relationships, that could have gone somewhere but never did and then they wanted me later on after all. NO THANK YOU!

ok, because flipper brought up the beatles, i have to bring up the "anti- beatles".
i always preferred the rougher, raw edge of the stones, and the more guitar driven sound with a swaggering, swinging beat.. i'll go with tumbling dice, keith here was at the peak of his addictions and still came up with one of the coolest riffs.
anything from the micktaylor era is fabulous in my opinion, but sticky fingers and exile on main street are my favorite albums..

Nature, you gotta love it. Hey...could always be worse. The south and southwestern USA have cockroaches to deal with. The state of Maine has black flies that bite along your hairline, you don't notce them biting until the blood starts dripping. NO JOKE...it's true.

it has been quite a journey.
she is a wonderful, loving, forgiving woman: far better than i ever deserved.
Better than you deserved? No, we all deserve what we get, even the bad at times for whatever reasons I'm glad you see her so special. You deserved her because of your good qualities. Wishing you an additional 32 years! SUPER! That's commendable.

well, over two weeks after my father nearly died thanks to this bone-head cult, he and mom finally got a visit from one of the elders.
i had left work early the other day as my mom had asked me to pick a few things up for them.
so i pull up in their driveway and notice a few people in a car and figured it was the witlesses and sure enough it was.
Loved reading your posting Mary! Jeepers, everything you said was so typical of the Jdubs, e.g. making others wait out in the car, only visiting certain ones contingent on the weather and claiming the end is right around the corner. I think it's THEIR end that is so close. Arthritis? *heehee* I think you were right about that.
