I know your world all too well. So many deeds, so little appreciation. I think someone "upstairs" is keeping tabs though.

i have had a bad day and thought that i eould share it with you to either cheer you up - glad i am not him.. story - my in laws are moving to a flat/appartment, and they had a load of rubbish to be moved from there by today so that the workmen can finish tommorow.they (the in laws) can not do to much as they are quite infirm.
guess who did - in one - me!
i said to my jw wife as i ran to her the meeting would really appreciate a hand here, she indicated that she really could not as she must get to meeting.

Priceless....
I was at my parents yesterday chatting with my dad. He asked me what I wanted to do for my Bday and i said dinner would be nice. I explained that this was always a touchy subject with us (hubby and me) and his face changed. I've discussed things with my dad before. He has the biggest heart of anyone I've ever known, (second only to my mom). He said he hoped that we (hubby and I) never had problems with the religion issue and i explained that it had already started happening, referring to the Assembly fiasco with my father in law.
My parents, like most people, never agreed with JW's but tolerated them due to respect and indifference. They have both had friends or rather acquaintances, in the past but now the issue hits home a little differently. I don't know what my life brings me now that I have this wonderful man in my life, and could one day be taken away from me. I hope He finds a way for me. If this is the path my husband wants to follow, i can only try to make him see the light.
Thanks as always just needed to put it down in words to release some hurt again.

my husband asked me this morning, "did your parents not want to do something with you yesterday since it was your birthday?
my birthday is monday.. i told him this and he said he thought he had forgotten.
i guess i should let it go because i know who i married, but it still hurts.
Thanks to all!! Hubby called and said he was so thankful that I was born today. That's as mushy as he's gonna get. He's still a believer obviously. We're getting together with my family later today for some good mexican home cooking. MARGARITAS!!!!
Flipper, Baba Yaga, and the rest of you thanks again. Don't know what i would do without this board!

they are exactly the same as they were when i tried to study 15 years ago!!

ok, because flipper brought up the beatles, i have to bring up the "anti- beatles".
i always preferred the rougher, raw edge of the stones, and the more guitar driven sound with a swaggering, swinging beat.. i'll go with tumbling dice, keith here was at the peak of his addictions and still came up with one of the coolest riffs.
anything from the micktaylor era is fabulous in my opinion, but sticky fingers and exile on main street are my favorite albums..

hi everyone,.
a letter has been prepared by anonymous brothers to be sent to bodies of elders around the world.. of course this is a massive undertaking and we are asking for assistance from active and inactive ones around the world who share the sentiments of the letters contents.. your participation in this action indicates your sincere desire to see change within the organization that has become authoritarian in recent years.. we ask that the letter be addressed to "the body of elders" in each respective congregation.. please do not add any further information or commentary.. we are also relying on non-english speaking brothers to translate and distribute this letter.. it will not matter if more than one letter is received by each congregation.

What is IP-SEC?
