Watch Tower says the "other sheep" are not identified until AFTER the great tribulation starts and the "great crowd" is not identified until the great tribulation ends, so your question might be a non issue in the context of current Watch Tower speculation.

Romans 8
by confused and lost ini have just finished reading the book of romans and i have a question ?
a person cannot please god unless he is controlled by the spirit.
(rom 8:8,9) nor can he put to death the misdeeds of the body except by the spirit (rom 8:13) the next verse (v14) then tells us that all who are led by gods spirit are gods sons.in fact they are adopted as his children.however, according to the wts , these verses only apply to the annointed.so,my question is this.if only the annointed are led by gods spirit, whose spirit leads the "other sheep" ?

Sioux Falls, South Dakota . . . only they weren't called congregations, they were called "companies" and the divisions were called "units". So, my company was Sioux Falls, east unit. There was an east unit and a west unit.
The companies were governed by "committees" made up of "servants". The committee members were: the company servant, assistant company servant, and Bible study servant. The company servant was evolution of the "Service Director" job that the Society used to unionize the congregations and fire the elders.
After the elders were gone, the union re-appointed new elders (from the "servants") that worked for the union (called "The Society"). The "Service Directors" have been brought back since under different names but having the same job and reporting directly to the union. The objective was and is to establish and maintain union control of the companies. Control of the companies = control of the money. -

Is this why the WTBTS is changing the "generation" meaning?
by TooBad TooSad induring the 1970's, 80's and 90's i was always calculating how old the generation was that.
saw 1914. at one time they had to be at the age of discernment 12 to 14 years old.
and then it was just being born by 1914. well we all know that this watchtower teaching.

Now, the number of reported anointed isn't a problem for the Tower Witnesses . . . but . . . the number 144 thousand IS. They'll always have problems with this teaching because it's so stupid. If it's true, it discredits itself, if it's false, it discredits itself. They can't win with this one.
Maybe the Society writers could visit the Bible Students and let the Bible Students explain it to them. -

In our family the two unforgivable sins were:
1) Being born,
2) Getting baptized by JWs. -

"make sense"
The term "make sense", never works for me in any context involving Jehovah's Witnesses. To me, nothing they do or say makes sense. Old Witnesses are nothing more than old fools. -

Can U Stop The Elders From Having A Judicial Committee Against You?
by minimus ini don't think so.
i believe that if they decide to have it, there's nothing legallyspeaking, that you can do to thwart it.. what's your opinion??

I kind of wanted to know who would shun me and my family and people important to me. I don't want anybody in my life who'd throw me under the bus because of the books I read. It's proof of bad character if I don't protect people important to me because I don't want to hurt the "feelings" of the abusers.
I not only want to hurt the feelings of the abusers, I want to advocate to their detriment.
With my personal experience with Jehovah's Witnesses as my reference point, I have a "one strike and you're out" policy with them. If they shun me or hurt my family or disrespect people important to me once, I'm done with them forever.
In my life Jehovah's Witness relatives have been a curse, not a blessing . . . a liability, not an asset. I have a good family and good friends. I'm not going to disrespect them by tolerating Jehovah's Witnesses and their weasel ways. I'd sue the Witnesses if they didn't shun me. -

Quote:
4) Understanding deep things requires study. However, study is not the same as reading something superficially. It involves carefully examining information to see how it fits the pattern of what we already know.
So tell me again how a non-Witness would become a believing Witness using the principle above. If a Witness studies with say . . . a Catholic person . . . this is what the "study" is told? -

The Power of DA
by freydi ini read with sadness the various travails of those who are in and want out but haven't, mostly for the sake of family, the unmitigated temerity to df the borg, and are just waiting for the inevitable kangaroo miscarriage of justice by a jc to pull your plug, and then consoling yourself with thinking that the hounders may have had a sleepless night or two once they'd done their dirty business.
of course you know that after a night or two they've deleted you from their hard drives, so the consolation is pretty much short-lived.
but it seems to me that to give, not only the hounders, but the whole circuit lingering and on-going second thoughts, that maybe they're the ones who are in the wrong and how many others there might be, is when they don't get a chance to hang some bum rap you, and you give them the pink slip.

I'd say send the DA letter to the religion editor of your local daily newspaper.

How Do Elders Sleep at Night? a non exJW friend asked me
by feenx inhey everybody
so after my post yesterday in reference to the scan of the flock book, then going over the notes taken by the elder in north carolina in reference to child molestors taking authority roles in the congregation and the society instructing for previous records of their abuse to be destroyed, (which btw i love how it's noted that it's a rare case when that happens.
umm...doesn't that just confirm that it has happened, since it's rare, and not just a "policy") i sent the photos to a friend of mine as we were discussing it all.

If I ever need a heart transplant I want a heart from a Jehovah's Witness elder because those are the least used hearts I know of.
