  The dreaded assembly experiences ....

  sitting through the items with experiences at the one day special assembly day last weekend reminded me just how dreadful having to handle experiences at the assemblies were.

  when i was an elder, i used to dread getting assembly assignments that included experiences; they were always so fake.. .

  nothing ever happened in our circuit that was ever noteworthy or outstanding, and you usually ended up re-hashing the same old stuff from years ago.. .

  i just read the nov 15, wt - what a laugh.. so they admit some leave over their teachings and then they say there's no where else to go.

  what a joke - they are liars.. .

  was it a problem with a teaching?.

  both build you up and let you down and get you addicted to the "high" (everlasting life, .

  perfect world system, having the truth while everyone else is ignorant.

  request from researcher: on this thread, http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/16/165965/1.ashx jwfacts listed a booklet called,"blood,medicine and the law of god, which you provided a scan of page 38. isn't that the booklet that says that "insanity" can be transmitted through a blood transfusion?

  if so, can i grab a copy of that booklet?

  why is gas dropping in price?.

  it was $3.69 three weeks ago and now it is $2.85.. not complaining but it seems kinda fishy.

  Here in Dakota, we run our cars on corn whiskey. Now we're building a plant to make whiskey from corn cobs. We're importing our oil from Canada with two new pipelines and we're building a new oil refinery that's now in the zoning and permitting stage.

  there's been a few topics on the "search out the inactive ones" articles in this wt, but i haven't seen anything on the 3rd study article, titled "maintain a scriptural view of healthcare".. i was unaware that the bible had anything to say at all about healthcare, but oh how wrong i was!.

  unfortunately, no scanner - perhpas one of the other intrepid posters could scan and post it.. but here are a few choice quotes:.

  paragraph 6: "...we know it is wise to avoid letting our health become an obsession or a constant concern.".

  What are the LAST thoughts of a JW?

  when a jw dies, from results of an accident, disease, or especially, complications resulting from "old age", what do you suppose their last thoughts are?

  would they think they have wasted their lives waiting for something which never did and never will come?

  or do they really expect to close their eyes and open them in a paradise?

  it just struck me.

  things have changed this last week because of the financial melt down so the wts real estate is not worth as much.

  why does printing have to be done in the us?

  I have to think the corporation would have been much better off to do their building in Brooklyn. They have an empty square block there. When the city land was filled up they could have sought out other available prime building sites.
  
  The Wallkill and Patterson communes are never gonna be sold for top dollar. They'd be extremely difficult to divide and they're huge as one parcel. Their potential buyers would be few and they probably won't be seeing multiple offers or auctions like they have in Brooklyn.
  
  The Wallkill and Patterson communes obviously weren't built as investments. I still haven't figured out why they weren't built together unless it was to divide the parcels from each other and locate them so one property wouldn't compete with the other for future buyers. Even if that was the reason, they could have been located much closer together.
  
  It's almost like there's a planned division in their future.
