Would you rip off the WTS if you could?
by Mindchild inthink fast

a total of 5520 hours.

It's part of my personally chosen moral code not to rip people off. It doesn't have to do with the people, it has to do with me. It's something I've decided to live by.
If the WBTS can provoke me to break my own moral code, then they still control me.

Oh, man, Eva Gabor... she was, what, 35, 40 then? And I was maybe 14, but even though she could have been my mom, I could not look at the woman without "lust in my heart". I do believe it would have been worth enduring the ditziness. But my bigtime lust-magnet was Morticia. Aiee, caramba!

Adam Cartwright, the "brainy one" of the three sons. Always had his shirt sleeves rolled up to just below his elbow.
Remember it actually shutting off at night?
Yep. Remember when there was one ad at the beginning of the show, one 15 minutes into it, and one at the end?
Alfred Hitchcock lampooning his own sponsors: "Some of you may have been disturbed by the subject of tonight's episode, and find yourselves unable to sleep. Luckily, our sponsor has provided the following, which will alleviate that."

Poll: Affection or sex
by Mimilly inif...... you had to choose just one to have for the rest of your life, which would it be?
affection or sex?
by affection here i mean snuggling, kissing, hand holding, all the little things.
-
GatoCat
if you just want sex with out all the other things that go along with it, then you should just go masterbate.
Nononono. Just find somebody of the other gender (assuming you're hetero, of course) who also wants sex without all the other stuff, and you work out an arrangement. Yeah, buddy!

(40 posts in a too-short timeframe... sheesh, time to back off from this forum again. But not before I say...)
My favorite Mighty Mouse scene is the one, in quite a few different cartoons, where MM has foiled some initial evil plot of the bad guy, and he comes right up eye to eye with MM and says calmly, quietly, "I suppose you know this means war."
Gunsmoke with Chester, long before Festus?
"Mister Dillon... Mister Dillon..." Dennis Weaver. I always hated his nasal whine, in everything he did.
the show Wells Fargo
I was young enough, I called it "Weld Spargo". Do you remember that in the scene behind the opening credits, the stagecoach wheel always seemed to turn backward? An optical illusion having to do with the number of frames per second contrasting with the number of images per second our eyes can process (as I later learned, in science class).
Do you guys remember Cecil the Seasick Sea Serpent? Somebody's alliteration gone over the top.
Hey, how about Dan Blocker, on the set of Bonanza, wearing his standard "Hoss" outfit, complete with white non-dimpled 10-gallon hat, selling Chevrolet pickups, talking about how tough they are?
Another memory test: what is it that will "bring strength and energy coursing to every part of your body"? Hint: Jo Ann Castle would know...

My pickup lines never worked
by LB ini guess it's good i'm married.
i wasn't all that great at picking up girls.
here are some of my old lines... didn't i just meet you on the bus??.

I was never much good at small talk or pickup lines. Fortunately, being in the band pretty much obviates the need for that. As often as not, they came to me.
Did it bother me that it was my status as a musician, rather than me as a person, that attracted them? Uh...
Nah.
