  Why do most people not think?

  i have just had a long conversation with a dear friend, and we came to the same conclusion most people do not really think.. he is 75 and is fizzing with ideas, got a phd at 60. in fractals( no have little idea what they are).

  for instance it was and is blindingly obvious to me that the price of oil would drop, it has a little.

  the reasons are simple and i am prepared to discuuss that if you want.. i have observed in relationships recently, my own included, that we ignore the what is happening, and often to our, and our familie's long term benefit.

  open question: i really don't have any ready answer for that one.... my basic assumption is that mankind has always been different.

  every period and situation of history can be construed as a "system" involving specific political, economical, social and technical conditions and a corresponding set of ideas, or beliefs, allowing for a certain type of self-, community- and world-understanding.

  Perhaps the future will be marked by constant changing ideologies.

  This may be true but i believe basic idealogies change little, the means to achieve them does.If you go back to ancient Greece the cycle seems to repeat itself in varying forms..They had an absence of rulers, Anarchy, followed by Draco, crushing rulership folllowed by Solon and democracy. This is a little condensed and simplistic i know but is illustrative.

  The internet is a liberating tool for the dissemination of ideas and information

  Its speed and immediacy is the thing which are the really important things along with its global reach

  The reason is the same we, me included, fail or choose not to think, for what i beleive are the following reasons.

  1 .When we think things through we feel we will be diconcerted by the reality.

  2 It is so easy not to do any thinking, we feel comfortable with the actuality.

  So what do you think do i have point?

  while living in perth my step-dad and mother were pioneering....he was also a servant.

  twice my mum left him due to violence...but, elder idiot encouragement sent her back to him.

  this last time they had an arguement about the price of potatoes.

  I do not see how this is an indictment of the Canadian Healthcare system. No Facts, no comparison. Better watching the Micheal Moore Film on the American Heathcare system

  a 5.9-foot black-headed python was found in a toilet bowl on the 10th floor of an australian apartment complex.. it is believed the snake had been living in the plumbing of the building for some time.. .

  they are having their dc here in calgary at the pengrowth saddledome so this morning the lrt train was full of them.. what a spectacle.. guys in ill-filling suits (on a roasting hot day) and 22 year old women dressed like they are 42, all with their silly name badges and yapping on loudly (much louder than anyone else ever talks to each other on the train - i guess they have to be conspicuous eh?).

  little did they know that sat just feet away from them was an evil apostate ... ooooh.

  i am going to have an interview for a chirpractor's assistant's job this morning.

  i was raised in a family of chiropractors and this looks like a good fit for me.

  please send out the prayers and thoughts from now through the interview at 8:30 am and through out the day in the minds of the interviewers.
