Marvin no one forces you to pay for a lawyer, so stop whinging about much they cost an hour, if you use their services you have to pay, the same as when you buy goods at a grocery store.

Was not the issue in with Corvairs the fuel tank and its position?
I have no doubt that the fear of legitimate litigation has made many companies to behave in a far more responsible fashion. Has there been "vexatious and frivolous litigation" ? Yes - no doubt, do not use this as an argument to neuter tortious actions, but (as has been said), reform the sometimes, outlandish awards.
Btw Porsches' are known to have a problem with their rear end swinging out , if driven poorly, Porsche drivers know this.

Why the hell the does anyone want a bag less hoover? I have 2 hoovers, a Miele' cylinder, and a Sebo upright, both are incredible, robust, easy to fix and maintain, and you do not get all messed up emptying them, all the dust is in a bag! They are good if you have animals and clean very well.

in convasation with a american recently i was introduced to the horrific concept of putting cream in tea?!?
they in turn were appaulled by the idea of milk in tea with 12 sugars ( al la builders tea).. so before i put the kettle on, how do you take your tea?.
( mine is english breakfast, milk no sugar, middle strenght).
Earl Grey, Yorkshire or English Breakfast are my preferred Teas, though i will drink most, with the exception of the smokey Chinese teas. I much prefer it black with a slice of good lemon, no sugar. Biscuits - hobnobs or a good shortbread.

any of the rhetoric, demands, conciliation, etc., etc., remind you of anything?
wasn't this all how this war started in iraq?
(or the justification for it, anyway?
LWT this article illustrates my belief that Iran will avoid a conflict over nuclear weapons if at all possible.
Why is it that the articles you quote are by and large from the right wing of the UK press, though by the standards of US they are more closely aligned to the Democrats?
Israel, and Netanyahu in particular, has a well rehearsed agenda on this subject, and that has to be borne in mind when listening to their (admittedly important) viewpoint.

for the record, i don't believe in the god of the bible, and i find it hard to believe in the god of any religion on earth.
i am closest to atheist in my beliefs if you want a traditional title, but i prefer "rationalist.
" i will do god's will for me when he directly tells me what it is.
I agree with you too. I find that there is no inherent need to be right all the time, this is quite liberating in many ways, amd leads to more questions being asked and answered.
Life is so much more fun as a result.

as i continue my research to enable me to help my family see that they are not actually in "the truth", i am am looking to meet with a "real-life" ex jw, or at least converse with one via email etc.. it does appear that there are some differences in organisational rules/regulations/enforcement across the world, so i would like to speak to someone who is local and familiar with the uk set up.. i don't have any particular questions etc.
at the moment, it would just be nice to have a friend who i can ask help from and maybe even offer some support myself.......maybe even buy them a pint!!!.
cheers!
Hi I am from just North of London, pm me if you want to.

i am not an expert on wine, can't afford to be, but i do like a good one, preferably red, but i have tasted some excellent rose and white.. my question is for the benefit of my sister in law, she is a chain smoker, and perhaps for that reason cannot abide a wine that is even slightly dry, she only drinks white, but does not enjoy the sweet white she has bought (cheapo bottles) so sticks lemonade in medium or dry white.. that is o.k if she is paying, but i often buy a good quality white, around $20 , and she desecrates it by pouring in the lemonade !.
can anyone recommend a wine, not too expensive, that she would enjoy ?
i suppose for her strange palate it would have to be "sweet" , but she hates sickly sweet.
aligot riponsous i so agree with you about the delights of Anjou Villages wines, i have spent happy times in the Loire drinking their beautiful wine. I have been to Bordeaux and Burgundy too. I had a memorable meal near Chalon sur Saone , by The Saone itself.
I loved the Rose's of the Loire.
I am no wine buff though i just enjoy drinking nice wine.
