I agree if women can do the job as well as or better than men why not. I saw a number of candidates for an interview a young female appeared lot better than the others she got the job. The Jws would freak out if they had female elders. might even be better!

they are the "most loving organization in the world".

they personify christ and are the only "true christians".

i sent an email to a jw relative earlier today that showed some office supplies that go on sale starting sunday because i know they are always on the lookout to save a few bucks for their business.

i got this reply a few minutes ago.. " ___'s father passed away wednesday.

memorial tomorrow at __ at ___ kingdom hall.

Sadly does not suprise me, when ny mum died they came round to counsel me about the behaviour of my children who were then 1 4 & 13 who had enough to deal with. Did me a favour though made me think seriously about thier belief system. Thier counselling helped me. Never looked back!

so you found out the jehovah's witness religion/cult was bogus.

congratulations, it's a step in the right direction.

now all you have to do is escape the cult of christianity.. while other christian groups are (perhaps arguably) less controlling (on the whole), the foundation christianity rests on is bogus too.

I am now agnostic, I see beauty in the autumn I love the colour of the trees and the sounds of beautiful music and love literature. I back where I was pre JW. The years as a Jw were not wasted never - could now think they might have been more productive though.

We should be tolerant though.

By the way for we beat the French at rugby England in Final next week.

I agree , and how can dfing be loving? Love is by definition about tolerance and accepting of divergent views They do feel threatened be them even though they think they have the truth. On a personal level I did experience a lot of kindness when I was going - very little now though how, is it that uncondiitional?

hello my friends .

well, i just wanted to share our special day with you guys too , because you folks have become close like family to us !

for mrs. flipper and myself being in our late 40's, early 50's, with all the challenges we had over the years before we met, being with the wrong people who took advantage of our kindness when we were both in other relationships , we truly do feel it is a miracle that her and i finally found each other later in life and found real happiness in a marriage.

i really have never understood prayers too well or how they are answered or not.

i really think it is more of a self-help type excercise.

aren't there some really funny experiences in the yearbooks on prayers answered!?
