One rule of thumb everyone should follow is "whatever emotionalizes you, controls you" Whether its the Born agains, with their outrageous rock concert sunday morning sermons, or the believe us or die Jws, or the nagging spouse who can upset (emotionalize you) its all the same. How do you think Hitler got fifty million Germans to follow him and his plan to take over the world...... Emotionalization.

Are there too many EX-JW Born agains?
by sleepy ini dont wish to offend anyone but this is what i think.a large number of people who leave the jehovahs witness movment become born again christians or join other religious groups.but is this a sign that many who have learnt that "gods chosen organisation" is wrong have not learnt anything at all?.
maybe the prospect of facing a future without a god , a divine purpose , and a faith just too much for some people to bear.but in joining another religious group are they not making the same or similar mistakes as before?they are still putting their trust in a ancient book written by people they have never met, interpretted by other people or by themselves, they have not maybe learnt to be analytical in their thinking and to withhold trust until reasonably solid evidence is provided on an issue.. although other religious may or may not be more harmful than jehovahs witnesses if lessons on thinking and reasoning have not been learnt then we could be open to many more errors of judgment in our lives.. so does the fact that many jehovahs witnesses join other religons show that they are just moving on rather than understanding why jehovahs witness are wrong and learning from it?.
maybe they dont fully grasp that the fudamental flaw to jehovahs witness , is belief in the bible as gods word only the second being following that through an organistation .if the bible is not gods word then all religions who follow it are flawed.. of course what other people choose to think or follow is none of my buisness and i fully respect other peoples right to believe what they want, but if this world is to progress and mankind to improve in thier dealings with one another then we can not all go round living in our own little fantasy worlds , we must be brutal with ourselves in checking why we believe the things we do and trying to align our minds with reality not fantasy.. this apllies to all aspects of our lives.but if we are not honest or open minded and reasonable enough to see there are some massive problems to the bibles authenticity and divine declerations how will we be able to make reasonable decisions in other areas of our lives?

by GeddyLee inwhat a great feeling!!
with the witch hunts from the crotchtower coming early next year there was no way i was going to let those toilet scrubbing, window washing, gas pumping, cheese and cracker men ,have the satisfaction of trying to hunt me down, and than tossing me out on their terms.

I pioneered for five years, was an MS when I left quietly almost ten years ago.Dad an elder, Bro a circuit overseer, other brother an elder, so on , so on. I have officially washed the stench of watchower off of me , on MY terms, not theirs! Oh what a feeling!

Rebel, Circuit leasing is a retail outlet run by the watchtower to sell cars that were bought for the circuit overseers by the brothers in each circuit. Its money laundering at its cultish best.

Lets do some simple math. Use 100 circuits just for simplification. The mindless drone publishers in each circuit fork over 25,000 for the new Buicks, and there is no local ownership. Every three years they sell the cars, at say 20,000 bucks each, through that circuit leasing company. Thats a cool tax free profit going to the crotchtower of 2,000,000 . And thats only for 100 circuits. This rancid publishing company known as the watchtower is nothing more than a greedy , slimy corporation run by people no more ethical than the suits that ran ENRON, all under the guise of a religion.

Most embarrasing Wathctower you had to place
by GeddyLee inman they used to come up with some corny topics, and even worse covers.
it made an already unbearable task even worse.
the top of the crap pile for me was trying to place a magazine entitled the salty drink that saves lives.

Stan, How about that time we called that freak circuit overseer Gibson at three in the morning and asked how things were going. Or leaving at half time before the warchtower and slamming back three huge drafts, than coming back while they were singing the song, smelling like a brewery and picking up our books. Or that time when we were pioneering out in service, we put sugar in Ron Carvingstones gas tank, so we could count time while waiting for a tow truck to come.... Oh wait you werent there for that one, I pulled that one off solo. Geddy.

Thats right no pension. My great grandparents, grandparents, died broke, waiting for the big Armaggedon to come and save them my father and mother are old and broke still thinking its right around that corner you know. my brother the circuit overseer will die broke and disillusioned as well. Glad I saw the light- a little late (thirty years old when I left) but at least I have a house, decent job, and some money put away for retirement.

The coming "disassociations"
by Elsewhere ini have seen several threads about how the elders are going to be going around asking people if they still consider themselves to be jehovah's witnesses.
this will undoubtedly result in multiple da announcements in the coming months.
i'm curious how the average jw will perceive this and respond to it.

Ok Stan I might have you figured out. Do you know anything about a latexwearing moresome from the sloop?
