Love Stephen King. Just when you think he's gone as far as he can go he takes off again. Geralds Game really was the scariest for me. You might try Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child (They write together and separately) FBI Agent Pendergast is fun, F. Paul Wilson is good too (especially the Repairman Jack series). Most of these are written in order so try to get started from the first one.

How Were You Treated as a Jehovah's Witness if You Had Depression ?
by flipper inmost of us who were in the jehovah's witnesses for some time realize that for years the watchtower society had always discouraged it's rank and file members from going to see therapists, or professional counselors if they had depression, or serious chemical depression.
the watchtower society always told us to go out in service more, do more personal study, be more regular at meetings - and essentially we would lose our depression , and everything would fall right back into place.
the old, " don't worry, be happy " cliche.

Study more. Pray more. It actually made it worse. Felt that I was unworthy of help from God.
Had an elder tell a sister (bi-polar) she had a demon problem.....she killed herself. Didn't seem to bother him.

The whole thing gave me the creeps. The soft tone of the "elders" and their absolute stance of judgement without discussion or care for one of their flock. Takes balls to walk into someone's home and do this. Outrageous.

Personal Experience I've Never Shared - I Hope it Helps Some Here !
by flipper ino. k. how do i start ?
i will preface the start of this first by saying this happened many years ago - in 1985 when i had just become a new father myself to my dear son flipper junior, i'll call him.
when i explain this to you, some of this may appear comical, in fact, now that i overcame it years ago, i can laugh at it, but when you see the totality of the story- when it happened then to me- it was no laughing matter.

Welcome Str8!!! We embrace you here. Your writing is wonderful.
Real One....Someone new comes here for comfort and grace. When someone is healing the last thing they need is for someone to bitch slap them with their interpretation of the bible. Your need to pronouce your beliefs is greater than comforting a creation of God.

Dream On, Brother [and Sister], Dream On!!!
by Rapunzel in) is any one here capable of remembering his/her dreams?.
) does anyone believe that dreams - and the analysis/interpretation of dream - provide a "key" to solve any of life's problems?
can the analysis/interpretation of one's dreams be therapeutic?.

I have very detailed dreams that are like watching a mini-series in living color.
I have made notes just to tell my friends about my weird dreams.
I think they are part just your brain randomly firing things off combined with things you are subconsciously concerned or working on. The second part can be interpreted. All the answers for yourself are inside of you.
Prophectic? No.
I think most dream prophecies were induced by a self induced trancelike state, sleep deprivation, drugs, alcohol. If I take meletonin my dreams are like an LSD trip.
Your belief system, country of origion, traditions decide how much your dreams lead your life (unless you choose not).
