i really love xmas eve.
{can't say xmas day is something i look forward to at all.
A dinner for just the 5 of us, in the dining room with the good china. Tonight it will be pork roast, broccolli, hashbrown casserole and rolls. We are also going to bake butter cookies for Santa, and leave them with milk out by the fireplace.
The kids will have a sleep over upstairs while my husband and I wrap the gifts. I started a new job and didn't have time to do it earlier. And my husband had an accident and needed surgery.

one of these babe/friends begged me to join...as she has a blast on facebook...and said it a great way to make new friends...esp with some of hers....well anyhoo...her cousin is a model/actress i know a bit who also has a burlesque show she produces and performs in....so life is good!.....oompa.

We would get several each year from artists and management, fellow roadies. I always wished we could reciprocate. I finally started sending cards out from my husband, so they wouldn't get offended. Now I have all my cards taped to one of my floor to ceiling windows!

i need to let you know that dad passed away this morning at 8am.
he fought so hard but in the end they could not get his blood pressure to rise and he died of heart failure.
Please accept my condolences. My dad was the same age as yours, but he passed 13 years ago. Please always treasure the last moments you had with him.

just to let everyone on here who knows my dad, that he is seriously ill, and unfortunately on life support.
he has renal and respiratory failure as a result of the quickest onset of pneumonia i have ever seen... it came on in the early hours of this morning.
he is waiting for an intensive care bed but the nearest one is 200 miles away.
Stay strong and give your family my love.
