I am definitely a better person.
When I was a JW, the only thing to do is to preach , attend meetings and wait for the big A.
But now I have many things to think about and to do. My career and my future,
I have become more open and listen to other people's beliefs without judging them.
I agree totally.
Hahaha! u oso have tatoos. I have three. One on my right arm, one on my back and another on my thigh.
Cigarettes? b4 I become a witness I smoke occassionally when with my smoker friends. Stop when I was a witness. But started again when in the army. These few days I smoked a lot. 2 packs a day...

What??? International Convention???
I have never heard of it. Only been to a circuit assembly and a district assembly held in a nearby country.
And a bro paid for my train tkt to attend the DA as I am young and no money.
Internation convention? held at where?
If anyone were to sponsor my air ticket, I go!

I no longer believe in anything they say.
But I HOPE their teaching of no hell is true....all other religions I studied after I left say there is a hell.
I know i will be going to hell if what the other religions taught is true.....

This boy is so ignorant, so gullible. It's free...no harm learning new things.
But there is no free lunch in this world! By agreeing ,he lost his freedom, his ability to think, reason and to question for 3 whole years and was still suffering emotionally. "Last days...Armaggedon, death" always come back to haunt him..His girlfriend left him all because he wanted to take back his ability to reason and to question.
And now 5 yrs later, he is lost. He realised he has been cheated. He could not sleep. But luckily for him, he has friends in JWD who is always available to comfort and advise him. And now, he needs to voice out his frustration to his JWD friends even though it is already 3 AM...

i was talking to gumby today and he told me that one elder that he knows said: "...he heard a gb mention of some new light about the "generation".

he said the gb member said they now believe that scripture applied to only the annointed...".

have we had any discussions on jwd about this?

That's true. No gaining back and it's no use dwelling on it.
But we can have a mind open to new ways of thought, and a heart open to our real feelings and emotions.
