  for me i think if it wasn't for the fact i'm gay, i'd still be an active witness.

  this year, even my mum has said that it wouldn't be "appropriate" if i was to go to the memorial.

  now the memorial is something i've never missed, so that kind of stings a bit.

  If it wasn't for me being totally unable to listen to hate spewing morons feed brainless sheep bullshit by the bushel full, and shun their family that don't want to be sheep, and stick their noses into everybody elses business, and tell other people things that I don't beleive, pretending that I do, and kill their members because they're too proud to admit their wrong, and all the other myriad ways that they screw up lives, I'd still be in the "Truth".

  Who am I kidding, I probably still wouldn't be in it...I'm way too lazy.

  are people born with a desire to be with the other white meat?

  why would a person choose that path when it leads to criticism, hatred, alienation, high cholesterol etc.

  I think that perhaps we are born hamsexual, I know I was. But the important question is, what are the benefits of hamsexuality? First, is the great fashion sense. Greasy fingers, BBQ sauce stained aprons, and porky breath just scream "Hamfabulous". Second, the...uh...well, the...ah, the hell with it. There is know second reason, but it sure taste good.

  i work in the advertising world - i run the department and have 5 staff memebers that report to me.. 1 accountant, 2 sales reps and 2 layout and design.

  my one rep is sluggish, no drive, no umph, does the bare minimum and no matter how times he is warned, encouraged, you name it his attitude doesn't change.

  i've lost my cool on a couple of occasions with him becuase he has a total disregard for authority.

  Dawg's right. Document, document, document, you cannot document too much. I've got 18 people working for me, and alot of trouble has been averted because I had records to prove my point and fall back on. I better get off here before someone documents it, and gets me in trouble, I'm at work right now.

  I've just become a father

  i have been married for 10 years and have two wonderful step kids, 15 and 21. being a jw i did not want a child as life seemed so pointless.

  things changed for the better since leaving and i am now the proud father of a big baby boy zac - 9pounds (4.1kg), 52cm long and huge lungs.

  my wife is filipino so the baby looks very asian at the moment.
