Thanks everyone for your words of wisdom. Yeah, I know, I shouldn't have gone gambling. Anyway, it was the first time I went gambling since quit my job (I quit because of the pay and I had to use my own truck). I was bored and figured how bad could I do. Well, really bad, it seems. Anyway, I have promised myself not to gamble until I get another job. From now on I will continue to look for a job everyday until I get one. Hopefully everything will fine and I won't do something stupid.

I just got back from the Palms casino where I lost $60 dollars. That had to be the worst game of poker I have ever had. I got home and everything just started coming to me. The lost money, me not being able to fine a job, being alone for the past month and a half and it finally happened. I completely lost it. I just crying like a little wussy. If you can image a 6'2'', 240 pound Mexican crying, it is not a pretty sight.
I don't know what is happening to me. I really need a job fast. I can't take the loneliness anymore. The closest thing I have to any human contact is this site! How pathetic! Somedays I just feel like screaming. Other times I just look at people and I just want to hurt them. I don't know why really. Perhaps, I just want to feel like I exist. I feel like I am going insane little by little. One day it will get so bad that I will lose all contact with reality and I'll end up like one of those homeless people that walk around talking to themselves.
It is a strange Catch-22. I want to be around people and have friends, but I don't know how to talk to anyone. I get nervous around new people and I don't know how to react. I don't get it. Anyway, I just had to vent again. Hopefully, I'll get a good job soon.

Good news guys. There has been a small ray of light at the end of the tunnel. Just a while ago I went to play poker and after playing for thirty minutes, I won nine dollars. Yes, I know it is very little, but at least I won instead of losing.

Hello everyone. Thank you all for your words of wisdom. I seriously considered moving back to Houston, but I have decided to stick it out. I am not going to be a quitter like I have in the past. I am sure the more jobs I apply to, the closer I will get to the job that I will get!
In the meantime I go to the movie just about everyday. I got a library card and I have read several books, including "Blood on the Alter" written by and exJW. I also surf the net and listen to the radio.
One thing that I have noticed is that my sex drive has gone out of control. This is bad, since I don't have anyone right now. Considering I am in Vegas this is really bad. I go to the casino and see all these hotties in their short skirts and F*** me heels, ugh! I can't take it!
Any-who, I have to go and look at the newspaper for more jobs. Bye.

Hello everyone. After spending sometime in self imposed exile I am back! Anyway, I have been living in Las Vegas for about a month and a half. So far I have had my ups and downs. Right now, I am at a low point, but hopefully things will get better. I had a job as a courier for a company. It was a cool job. Spent my whole day in my truck, picking up packages and papers and sending them from one place to another. However, the pay was only average and I had to use my own truck, which ment I was putting a lot of wear and tear on it. Anyway, I quit the job, but I am beginning to feel like it was a mistake. It has been almost two weeks and I haven't gotten anything yet. I has put in applications at several companys, gone to three casino, and I applied at two cab companies. So far, nothing! I even put in an application the local newspaper to see if I could make some extra money delivering newspapers to casino, home, apartments, businesses, etc. So far I haven't been contacted! I must have applied to 20 PLACES and nothing! God, this sucks! I think I should have kept my courier job. It wasn't much pay, but at least was making something. Also, I haven't made any new friends. That's not much of a shocker, since I am the most introverted person in the world and I wouldn't have the slightest clue on how to meet someone. I have tried to go to clubs (I love to dance), but I just can't go alone. I don't get it. It's driving me nuts! I REALLY WANT THAT CAB JOB, but the guy there told me that it was hard to get in and he will only call a few people. As for a casino? The competition is so fierce it is almost impossible unless you have some kind of connection. I guess I will apply to place after place, hoping that lighting will strike some day. Anyway, I just had to vent. Hopefully things will get better. Bye.

Well, good news everyone! I went to a job interview for a courier job today and it went well. I took a test and I was told that I would get a call in the afternoon if I got the job or not. Well, a little while ago I got a call. It was the company. They want me to start training tomorrow at 10:30 in the morning. Woo-hoo!
LB and butalbee: I haven't gotten any yet. I have been so busy getting a job, I haven't had the time. Although I hope to find that luck lady soon.
Valis: Don't worry. I won't be with any hooker in Vegas. If I want one, I'll just go to a legal brothel in nearby Nye County.

Well, I have been living in Las Vegas for a week and a half now. The drive from Houston to Vegas was hard. It took me two days to get here, but thankfully my Dad came with me and he was able to help me drive. My apartment is great. It is right in front of the Hard Rock Cafe. I have spend most of the week going to the local DMV to get my Nevada driver's license, get my car registered in the state, and to get my Nevada license plates. (Guess what my personalized license plate will say: EXJW! Cool, huh?) I also changed my insurance to the state of Nevada. Also I have a job interview for a courier job so hopefully I will get that. Also I went to the local newspaper to see if I could get a job delivering newspapers to stores, newsstands, and casinos.
I have to say the atmosphere is great! I have been hanging out the Palms Hotel and Casino. That have a great poker room. Last Sunday they had the annual Pimp and Ho Ball. You would believe how some of these woman where dressed! I saw one woman dressed in a white bikini with a G-string, white Go Go boots and I long white feathered boa. Another woman was dressed in black lingere with stiletto heels and a black garder belt. This was in plain view of everyone!
Another time I saw a homeless person with a sign that said: WHY LIE! I NEED A BEER. Ahh! I'm going to love Vegas!

It is nice to see a old thread of mine resurrected. And speaking of resurrection, GentlyFarel, the director of Amelie also directed Alien: Resurrection.
