That the clones are not identical with today technology is not any surprice, is of public knowledge, they are also the mithocondrials RNA's, or something that sounds similar, that also take part in the genes of the clone. I'm not an expert, only a reader.

And about the Celeras guys. How do they could be sure that the DNA aren't the human blueprint, could they be sure ? Please provide us an URL with this statement. As much as I know is hard to believe this point.

That the genes of a cat are so similar to humans DNA don't means anything. For me is similar to say that the components of a TV proyector, are similar to the components of a computer, and try from this point to deduce some philosophical true. Is not a matter of components, but of organizations and sinergics. Two companies can have a thousands engineers each one, and one is a succes, the other a complete failure. Similar components, members or genes dont means anything.

Need help - what is the truth...

i am a witness that is no longer going to meetings.. but i tell you what, i'm scared to death.. i'm really "limping on two decisions.".

what would you guys say is the one "scriptural" reason why you left the truth.. thanks.. gene.

Hi,

For me is not a matter of one text. For me is something similar of what Jesus replied to que question of Mat 24:3, "... the sign of your presence", and then he gave us a collection of events. For me the collection of events that probe me that the WT didn't have the truth were:

1. The UN affair.

2. The replied that the WT gave us about his relationship with the UN. For me a complete lie, at least all the elders that signed this relationship must be removed for lack of sound of mind.

3. Then my research about blood. There are any evidence in the bible to forbide the blood, but not the fractions of the blood, you could understand as a complete forbide, but not as they actually taught.

4. My last understanding that there was not a Goberning Body in the first century. If you read again, Galatas, Act 15 and Act 21:20-24, you will understand that they were two kinds of christian teachings in the firsts century, the two of them with at least some degree of Holy Spirit aproval. Joseph Malik write an excelent chapter in his book Beyend Jehovah witness about this texts.

5. And all the other stuff that I learned, specially about the letter to Hitler in 1933, published in the yearbook of 1934, the aluminun stuff and many other more, like the endorsement of the book Womans and Angels ...

Many elders will replied, but to where can we go, but the bible ask: to whom can we go. Also in this text the WT lies to us. They put themselves in the place of Jesus Christ, maybe that is the reason because you will hear a lot of Jehovah and the faithfull slave in the Kingdom Hall, but so few about Jesus Christ.

A set of diverse flyers, so they can interchange or talk about between them, but with fotocopies of some of their old light, with some crazy teachings, including: Watchtower letter to Hitler from the 1934 yearbook, Pedofilia, the ONU affair well documented, the Golden Age magazine recomending Womans and Angels and ERA treatment, aluminiun. vaccinations, and so on.

if someone disassociated themselves from the watchtower society due to research that convinced them that the watchtower was erroneous on many issues and yet still felt convinced that jehovah is much more gracious with regards to salvation than what we learned through the watchtower, is it possible for such a one to get reinstated, even if they did not believe numerous things that the watchtower teaches?

but is this possible if someone still does not believe that certain doctrines the watchtower teaches are bible based (i.e.

: 1914, blood transfusions, disfellowshipping, etc)?

Interesting is the point that some months ago, talking with one old friend about the UN affairs, the one who gave me Bible study, said as one of his last arguments: But you talk a lot about seeking the truth, is it so important the truth ? ... my reply, but this isn't the point of being a JW ? ... he didn't reply anything.

Hi Ging,

Seems that you read something that you dislike. And yes I can agree with you that sometimes I read some post that I dislike. But here all opinions have a place, but the important points are the proofs. The WT said that people of all faiths have to test their faith with their bible. Can you dare to test your beliefs with the bible ? The WT answers all our questions when we begin to read the Bible, but when we developed enough knowledge to ask inteligent questions he reject us ? Do you think that Jesus Christ acts in this way.

On the other hand maybe you dislike some of us, or maybe all of us, but I think that your brotherhood would dislike you if they know that you are reading the posts in this forum. Maybe you have some in common with us.

The word "us" also trouble when I got baptized as JW.

Thw WT told us the the "tree of knowledge" means something like "... the right of God to decided what is god and what is evil for all creation", but also that Jehowah was speaking with his son in this verse, so: Does Jesus has the rigth as his Father to decided what is good and what evil for the creation ?

More that twenty years ago the WT said that Jesus has enough experience to decided in a relative way what is good and what is bad for himself.

I really agree with you that this is a trouble word.

Hi Joseph,

Seems you have a good understanding about this topics, specially the transfiguration point, and I appreciatte it.

But as you quoted 1 Tim 6:10 in this post about immortality, I have some related questions regarding it:

1. Why do according to the Bible Jesus Christ is the only being, appart from Jehovah who has immortality ?

2. Why angels aren't qualified to obtain immortality ?

3. So many eons and sacrifices had to pass so the Word of John 1:1 qualifies immortality and that it seems so easy for Adan to obtain immortality eating only from a figurative tree in the garden ?

I'll appreciatte if you have some opinion about.

their translation of john 1:1 is not only a complete farce but falls apart upon closer examination of their own beliefs.

the insertion of the phrase a god, instead of god is just a clear misinterpretation.

In this forum there are a lot of guys who really investigated who really are Jesus Christ, but they don't want to talk more about this topic, because they don't believe that this point is of utmost importance for salvation, maybe they as me are little tired to talk about this point. But with some hope that you understand some of us, I will give you some usufull information:

1. I AM in John 8:58. From the greek Ego Eimi.

2. Exodus 3:14 From the septuagint in greek Ego Eimi Ho On translated I AM WHO I AM. The large name of God.

3. Exodus 3:14 From the septuagint in greek Ho On translated I AM. The short form of God.

4. Look it again Ho On, not Ego Eimi is the short form of the name of God.

5.Gen 3:24 Ego Eimi aplied to a slave of Abraham.

6. Mat 26:25 Ego Eimi used by Judas.

7. Therefore, Ego Eimi is not a form of the name of God.

This is only a small list of verses, you can make your own research.

What about the Bible commentary ? Obviously is wrong, at least in this point. Why do people so educated and inteligent make this kind of obvious mistakes ? A mistery to me, maybe they want to see things that really aren't there because of beliefs. What do you think about ?

Beware, I you continue trying to arguing about the trinity, maybe some of us will convince you against your actual thoughts.
