Anyone who gets their Revelation Book (or any WT publication for that matter) spiral bound is pretty whacked in my opinion ! And then he has to carry it around and read it in the restaurant while eating ? What is wrong with some of these people !?! When I was in I didn't even want those fancy little plastic covers for the books, or Daily Text stands, or the fused Bible/Reasoning Book Super Deluxe bound thing with a myriad of page markers hanging all over the place, or the tract holders, or the "I The FDS" coffee mug, or the .....

My Non-Earthshaking JW Encounter

we ordered, and took our food to our table.
in the table next to us was a mail carrier on his lunch break.

BiblestudentSteve sounds like a "thirdwitness" type apologist who's assigned by the Society for the purpose of "damage control".That's why they've read "dozens of books" by "apostates" because they want to debunk them.There's also no shortage of socalled theocratic warfare nutjobs on a self proclaimed crusade to rid the world of all 'postates and to protect the Society.He no doubt fancies himself quite the intellectual but comes across as rather silly.It's rather ironic, and appropriate, that an organization that uses fear as the principle motivator is now quite fearful of the work of ex-jws that have shown them for what they clearly are.If they weren't worried, they wouldn't spend so much time trying to convince others not to listen to these things.

i am being called an apostate by some at the kingdumhell ,what should i do
by looloo inwhen i bump into the people who are calling me that name i would like to say something about what apostate actually means but im not very articulate (you may have noticed) one lady has said she will be polite to me but nothing else , im not even an ex dub just an ex study so do i actually qualify for that title in the "land of makebelieve"?
i know that jws think they invented the word apostate !
the more sarcastic ,the better ?

thanks everyone , i have laughed so much reading these replys i have wrote them down for future reference , the odd thing about all this is the people who i have heard are saying these things about me are the family of the disfellowshipped guy that abused my child and other children , they all liked me until i reported him to the police despite knowing i had been on "wicked" websites , so it seems to be a case of sour grapes to me and perhaps they dont think there is anything wrong with abusing children seing as they are supporting him but being nasty to me , weirdos !!!!!!
For an organization that supposedly so highly espouses "truth", it's obvious they really don't care much about such things.Unless, of course, it's their "truth" , done their way.They have exchanged truth for a lie.Hypocrites !

Say something like: "Wow ! You're really trying to win me back , aren't you ? Guess you never heard of the Prodigal Son ! Even Jesus associated with Prostitutes and Sinners, I guess Bible Studies don't count though... ! "
Throw the guilt back on them and show what an unchristian attitude they have.Instead of showing kindness, patience, compassion,etc. they're showing simple judgmentalism, they automatically fall back on what they know best.
