Personally, I believe that the borg is intentionally downsizing. Fewer printings of mags, sending people home from bethel before they grow older. Selling off property, shortening meetings, settling legal issues. Soon enough, they will bail out, take the money for the select few and VOILA! All you will see is smoke and empty buildings and empty promises. It's all one big Nigerian scam.

well, personally, contrary to what you've been taught, there are thousands of really nice people in the world just waiting to get to know the new you.
myself, i have taken up bowling, league bowling.

I don't think so, after all, they all relate about that warm fuzzy feeling they get.I have known MANY who have partaken, and believe me the current number that the wts reports is probably in great error. One I knew personally was 16 years old, wore lacy white gloves, white dress, you get the idea? Another was a sister in her late 30's, had lost an infant child after an illness. Next thing you know? yup , that warm fuzzy feeling again. Oh, by the way, both of these 2 sisters attended the same congragation. TRUE story. Same congregation also had a third sister partaking, wife of an elder. All 3 attended at the same time, go figure? CO had to give a talk at that hall and question if this seemd logical?true story.

Here you are 72 years YOUNG, I love it! You're a good man KennyP, that's what my friends call me, thank you. Regards raking leaves, I just let nature take its course. I use my muclhing mower, a couple of runs past them mind you. Or, I let them blow around the neighborhood, after all, you didn't pull them off the trees did you? Your neighbors may object to that , your being a fine jw and all, and of course they all know that, right? Ken, don't you have any sons or some fine young jw volunteers that are appointed by the cong to assist the older ones? The dear faithful brothers who set the example when they were younger? Enjoy your retirement Kenny, leaves will come and leaves will go, one way or another.

I had left it on the coffee table and my wife, a non-jw, read through a little bit in the middle of it, and it pissed her off too. I am about 100 pages into it and will probably finish it by sunday. So far what I have read shows me that they are not as organized as they would leave us to believe. They have the same mortal weaknesses of authority figures and power struggles with-in. Knorr showed that on his part. Not every one knows what the opther one is doing. And, they are NOT the fds. Gotta go to work kids, I'll catch up with this later. You all have a good day. It's my wife and mine bowling night, only goes to show that there is life after the borg. Have made alot of new friends, good friends at that.
