  not sure what you might be thinking i am talking about, but as i already explained, i was invited to be the
  moderator for a panel discussion being hosted at a public meeting of a local chapter of a national LGBT
  advocacy organization under incredibly unique circumstances that may or may not lead to more
  than local coverage.... the most public i have ever been since leaving the b0rg about my refutation of
  their teachings

  thanks for your concern, tho.... cos what happens in vegas, stays in vegas

  There has been 24,000 + downloads of "the book" from just one site, 105,022 on another, my guess is there are more downloads than copies printed!
  Plenty of people know, but whether the r&f know is another matter!

  evidently the 'boys' haven't gotten all their ducks in a row before printing the book!.

  they have issued another boe ltr (will have late sunday or early monday) regarding wedding procedure and scriptural freedom to remarry!.

  the ltr is dated oct 12, 2010 (so if anybody has a copy already post it or send it to me and i will post it).

  so a little background i am not dissfellowshiped and my sister stayed in for awhile though so she's treated like she is!.

  this is the most disturbing conversation i have ever had with my mother and for the first time i see clearly how deep the control on my mothers mind is!.

  My aunt is questioing.

  my aunt has been questioning the faith, though we initially did chat to her a few years ago, she wasn't ready to know the truth about the truth.

  we gave her coc but she didn't read it.

  now she has read it, and is reading it again.

  I Miss Field Service!

  yep, i miss those good old field service days but now i'm not allowed to join in the house to house work.

  so i've decided to do what i was taught to do instead; letter writing.. i'm going to take the money i once contributed to the kingdom hall and buy stamps with it.

  then i'll give a good witness to many in my area or in my state or across the country.

  just wanted to share an exerpt from what must have been an apostate ;) in a local craigslist add in my area:.

  "up for sale my membership as a jw, with the package you will recieve everlasting life, a virgin wife, a clear bloodguilty free concious, an excuse note for not giving gifts on holidays as well as not having to work on sundays at your job, a magical invisable bubble protection from satan the devil, jury duty excuse, no pressure for having to choose the right vote for president of america, head knowlege and endless argument busters, debunkers, granny slammers, door jammers, window spamers, and a host of other cool stuff you can get away with!!!!.

  note: no returns or exanges aloud, pickup only at my door, free with contribution, no rv's or co/po visits may insue, along with guilt, shame, shunning, embarasment, lost of loved ones comunication, no spiritual advice, and you may be visited by the demons who are going to haunt you for the rest of eternity, and not to mention no more hand shakes at memmorials.

  not every activity we choose to incorporate into
  our lives to resume or assume a "normal" life
  indicates an overt effort to reject the Truth tm ....
  face it! the dr0nes are the only ones who would
  see it that way.... talk about a twisted life course!

  i dont know that i would even be interested
  anymore in making direct jabs at the b0rg...
  but that doesnt mean i dont make mention
  of a "cultish door-to-door evangelizing religion"
  when the opportunity arises .... and since the
  m0rm0ns only let men do that, there is no doubt
  that i am talking JWs

  sometimes we just get caught up in something
  bigger than ourselves and have to go where
  it takes us... that is how i got to this point...
  and i aint looking back

  of course! you HAVE to figure out how to
  work the st00pid system of the b0rg in
  order to preserve bonds and family ties....

  as for me and my household
  we will serve jehovah we all
  got out within a year, from
  first to last and there is no
  impediment to our being the
  vocal and visible advocates
  we have chosen to be... i
  have no doubt that i would
  have a different outlook in
  a circumstance that had my
  relationship with family at
  stake....

  even so, it is not everyone's
  cup of tea to have a public
  profile, ESP about hot button
  topics like LGBT equality and
  safe schools .... fair play either way
