Flying to Orlando tomorrow, my daughter is in the hospital
by coffee_black inmy daughter is in the hospital with pneumonia, and possibly a blood clot in her lung.
they'll be testing through the night...apparently, her heart is enlarged as well.
she is scared... and if her jw father catches wind of it, he will be there trying to intefere with her treatment... he lives close by to her, so i'll be flying down in the morning....to head him off at the pass.

by sd-7 ini just got a call from jamie this afternoon, saying she found her husband in the bathroom, not breathing.
i've not had the chance to speak to her, she left me a voice mail.
but i'm very worried.

the perfect weekend as a JW would have had to
include enough snow to close the highway to the KH...had a few of those, and believe me it was more fun
to have to move FEET of snow, repeatedly, all wkend,
than force 4 kids to listen to me read the "study article"
to them while we drove to the hall....forgive me, my babies; mama was an idiot...
they got me to believe i would see you in paradise!!! -

i have made it habit, when deeply concerned
for one of my kids' well-being and safety or
when moved by autumnal splendour or aghast
(once again) at human cruelty or stupidity, or
any time of strongly felt emotions to say something
about it aloud and with intention "release it to the
universe".... if there IS a god or gods or higher
powers, she/they will get the message....might qualify as a prayer

apostate and porn sites, violent games, useless and frivolous entertainment, and so on.
for now, they are contended with just giving friendly warnings.

every time i read something else about the b0rg and the internet
i go looking around on facebook for dr0nes from the KH i attended...to be sure, 90% are the young ones, kids i knew now in 20-30s
and some of them have really buttoned down access to their info,
but they are still there, still socializing via the interwebs, and some
of them are downright nasty....the society might give new light, but there will be a persistent
segment of the fringe, "for appearances only", nominal JWs whose
actions will clearly indicate where the b0rg can stick their new light
