  i tried to find it, but it's gone.

  as well as the jehovah's witness fb page.

  it seems in the recent weeks those sites became "overrun" with apostates and were no longer encouraging.

  you don't have to wait in long xmas lines at the store to buy xmas presents.

  as a matter of fact, you don't have to buy a damn thing!.

  i agree that there was an instant network...

  on a trip to NZ, my hub and i were invited to
  meals and events and "cuppas" just because
  we showed up at KHs in dress clothes with
  NWT and a publication.....

  a JW couple traveling in this area were
  involved in a horrific accident and ended
  up being "adopted" by the congro i was in
  for nearly 2 months....

  i seriously doubt those attributes are the
  exclusive domain of the b0rg... but they
  were evident during my WTS association

  i have read this on this site and know some that do this type of work.

  if most jw's are window washers, what other occupations are considered the type of jobs that a witless would have.

  there is one guy, who was an elder when i left,
  but i have no clue if he still is, who has just
  fathered his 5th child, who has a "window
  washing business" that has branched into
  a variety of services including applying
  sun shield film, awning installation, small
  backhoe services, snow removal, and just
  recently, a new sideline as a restoration
  service ... new business name and logo
  in addtion to the first one...

  he hires at least one other full time guy
  and has several seasonal employess...
  he has a lot of equipment, inclu a brand
  new big ass truck....

  of course, he could be up to his neck
  in loans, banking on the notion the
  big A will come before he has to pay up.....

  he talks about xmas all year long because he soooo looks forward to the big ado of decorating.

  he loves the lights and the tinsel and the smells of scotch pine and cinnamon.

  Flying to Orlando tomorrow, my daughter is in the hospital

  my daughter is in the hospital with pneumonia, and possibly a blood clot in her lung.

  they'll be testing through the night...apparently, her heart is enlarged as well.

  she is scared... and if her jw father catches wind of it, he will be there trying to intefere with her treatment... he lives close by to her, so i'll be flying down in the morning....to head him off at the pass.

  there is a big insert in the jan kingdom ministry about the family worship night (which has evolved new capital letters - like governing body.).

  some helpful suggestions include the head of the household putting an agenda on the fridge door a few days ahead for the family to "build excitement and anticipation" (i kid you not.

  ) the provision is compared to the sabbath arrangement as a gift from god.

  Bristol Palin and her typical black & white right-wing / religious mindset

  so, bristol palin is through to the final on dancing with the stars even though it's obvious to everyone with half a brain that she doesn't deserve to be based on her dancing.

  she's there simply because the obsessive palin fundies are voting for her.. i thought it was interesting listening to her describe people who think she shouldn't be there as "the haters".. what black and white thinking and typical of the religious / right-wing mentality.

  people can't have an opinion that is based on reality and see that better dancers were voted off while she stayed way past her skill level warranted.
