Sister in my Congregation claims Jehovah always answers her prayers....including her new skirt and shoes for $20 bucks???
by Witness 007 into show you how dumb and shallow my congregation is a one of our "deeper" sisters claimed in field services that "jehovah answers all my prayers...like last week i wanted a new skirt and shoes for field service but only had $20 dollars....and would you believe i found them!!!
now i for one though well, why didn't you pray or the oil pipe in the mexican gulf to dry up...or food for the poor in haiti.
other pioneers tell of vegetables falling off trucks just when they had nothing for dinner???

worst privelege ever?

i could never get someone to help, and i was always last to leave.
when i did finally have one person who would help, if i used them too often i got questions about why the two of us were always taking the contributions.

Do You Think Prostitution Should Be Illegal?
by minimus inrecently, in my area, a number of people have gotten caught looking to pay for sex from a call girl.
a catholic priest was one of the "johns" that got arrested.. i know there are some that argue that it is debasing.
still, for a million years, it's been going on and there are willing parties who want to engage in this activity.. if two consenting adults want to have sex with one another and are willing to pay and accept the services, is it a horrible thing, in your opinion?.

in general principle i have no issues with
prositution that involves a willing party
offering sex for cash, especially with regulations
geared toward health codes, personal safety,
and age requirements for both parties....stickier wicket than the reductionist belief, tho,
that purchased sex will suddenly occur only
"between consenting adults" if prostitution
is "legalized"nations that have tried to somehow
legitimize prostitution are finding
that human trafficking increases
and the sex-workers are still the
exploited pawns and pimps flourishsocial workers and experts think decriminalization
for the sex-workers is a more practical approach,

Christian Friend Prayed for Meal WITHOUT Invitation to do so!
by White Dove inshe was visiting for breakfast and we hadn't seen each other for over 2 years.
i have since stopped being a christian and have been exploring paganism.. i don't advertise this for fear of offending people and getting judged for it.. so, we sit down to breakfast that i cooked at my house, and she asks me to say the prayer!
i said that i'm not a christian.

for me i found out a few days ago that in my old congregation the gossip about me ( i was first shocked that there was any gossip about me) is that i have started my own cult and i have a few followers (ex jdubs) wow!

What I hate most about missing the meetings...
by gutted in...is when people ask why i wasn't there.
usually i tell them, that i was sick, or not feeling well, which for the most part is true.
what is irritating is when someone presses it, especially someone you are closer with in the congregation.

might be of a highly personal nature.....a genuine response of mine to said people:
