DONT DO IT!!!!! I did this, and i wish i could take back the control it gave them. All it does it give them power over your life. Why on earth do you feel you need to RESIGN from a FAKE religion? What the heck? You will be ostracized, reviled, shuned, hated, plus your family, mistreated, for FOREVER. They have NO right to do that to you, do NOT give them that power. Do NOT do it. NO NO NO NO NO. NO .. Stop now. Dont do it. I thought I needed closure, I thought I needed to "take a stand for what was right." No one in my hall even KNOWS what happened or that i even left on my own free will, most think I was booted. Just stop going, you have no reason to do this.

Definitely steal the mics and freak out and tell it like it is, screaming out the name of this as well as many other useful websites that people need to go to. Then, as their escorting me out (in a skirt of course, and I'd make sure to wear red panties that day so as i'm kicking you can see them) I'd be reaching into my meeting bag and throwing out pamphlets i had prepared ahead of time with the REAL truth and more websites sites. Of course, the elders would run around and try to collect them all but a few would smuggle a copy home. Ahhh it would all be worth it....

I need some input (Migraines)
by Tired of the Hypocrisy indoes anyone know of any documented proof that long hair causes migraine headaches?.
the reason i ask is because my 16 year old son has this head full of curls.
he also has what we believe to be bad migraines.

I invited, remember that, INVITED, the elders to my home to ask them questions about 1914 because it was ridiculous to me and they came with printed literature about APOSTACY. Never even gave me a chance, came straight to my door with the accusations when all i did was invite them over to discuss it..... ridiculous...

i felt that i wasn't accepted by my brothers and sisters (long, long story).
whatever i did i wasn't "perfect" enough.

Witness in-laws destroyed my marriage

i was baptised as a jw (big mistake) in 1996. i married a 'sister' in 2004 and had a child with her in may 2006.. however, things have turned really sour.. last year, my now ex-wife walked out of our home with support from the police, social workers and domestic violence workers.
by chance i returned from work one day to discover her family (her grandmother in particular) perched outside the local police station.

I really feel for you because we are in a veru similiar boat. My husband took off with our two year old daughter and hid her from me for almost a month after i left him and the kindgdom hall. We are now going through a vicious custody battle where he is making accusations of innaporpraite behavior on my part (drinking drugs) none of which are true and some of which can be proven (drugs tests) I feel for you and hope the best for you. Please realize that through all of this things will get better. I recoommend goggling "expert custody witness" and when you get to the site, order the free cd for your lawyer, its great. Also, keep a jounal, EVERY DAY about what you two talk about, what you do with your daughter when you have her, exgt. It has proven to be my best witness, priceless.....
