  does anyone remember being a little kid and being forced to sit through those 2 hour meetings?

  specifically being made to listen to graphic accounts of whatever country that was going through horrific persecution.

  (or any other horrors you might remember).

  Gentleman get laid just like everyone else . I had sex with my husband on our first date and we are celebrating our 7th anniversay on Tuesday. I guess I should be glad he wasn't a gentleman.. oh.. yeah.. uh-huh .. yeah....

  my wife asked for a seperation last week.

  she rattles off a huge list of wrong things, like dress better when going out {wear a jacket?

  hi... my name is chrissy & i have been away from the "truth" for 8 years now.

  i married a "brother" when i was 20. i was humiliated by the "elders" in the backroom for oral sex & publicly humiliated but never disfellowshipped.

  my husband & i left the truth together after moving away from the area where we lived when we were witnesses.

  I'm not sure that a person can be taught how to make friends. That being said, this comment was.. bothersome:

  I think it's because we were raised with good values from being witnesses but maybe we are too good for the general normal population?

  Contrary to what JWs want you to believe.. most people try to instill good values in their children. Thinking you were "maybe [...] too good" will not aid in friendship making.

  I like my job. As a Trial Clerk I get to sit in a court room all day. Since I have now decided to be an attorney, it's the perfect stepping stone. Plus, since it's a government job I have great benefits.
