  here's mine from january '08:.

  so let us analyse this thread shall we.. a person under the influence of drink starts a thread on an international discussion board in which he talks suicide and despair.. some people {{{{{{{{hug}}}}}}}} him.

  some tell him to pull himself together, get some professional help and stop piling anxieties on people who are not in a position to do anything about his misery.

  thanks to this site, not only am i free of the mental imprisonment, but i am also free of the fear that the society used to keep me and others like me silent.. i am not a witness anymore because the truth is not what we are directred to think it is.

  once we allow ourselves to think, it is clear as day that there is no real basis for anyone to take the title of faithful and discreet slave.

  there are folders and lists which contain the names of pedophiles who were never turned over to the proper authorities for their crimes.

  my posting days on xjw sites are over.. thanks to everybody for making this place so vibrant, informative and at times invigorating.

  an special thanks of course to simon and angharad, of whom too many expected too much and who, despite our differing viewpoints at times, have been trustworthy friends to me.

  dear fellow gourmands,.

  i have completed the polishing off of a sizeable portion of fettuccine, smothered with an ordinary tomato sauce including ground beef, lottsa herbs, extra virgin olive oil and topped with grated romano and chopped italian parsely.. therefore, i am in a state complete and utter satisfaction.

  There was one poster in particular that was invaluable to me here: AlanF. W/o having known him I might have gone back to the dubs. He helped me see how a resurrection is impossible. He helped me question the Bible and God and helped me reason through everything. He didn't just say, "this is how it is".. he asked the right questions and let me answer them myself. One of the most amazing people I have ever met online. He helped me find my religious comfort zone: agnostism. A wonderful, wonderful man. Brilliant. I wish he would adopt me.

  for goodness sakes people get over it already!.

  i can't even read over a thread hardly now without someone almost hi-jacking it with saying something like oh i hope simon changes his mind about shutting down this board or saying well he shouldn't be on a power trip and just sell it or give it to someone to continue on.

  he has answered each of these numerous times and each time said no.
