Google is an amazing thing! found long lost family member!
by coffee_black inlast night, while awaiting the arrival of my son, daughter in law and granddaughter, i kept myself ammused by googling family members i hadn't seen in years.
i located my (fill in #) cousin... on my dad's side.
we were always distant because of the religion thing.... and i haven't heard from that side of the family in literally decades.

DC Experiences - reality vs. perception

she recounted how she endured through many years of her husband's opposition, never giving up, until finally he relented.
eventually, he bacame baptized and joined her in the full-time pioneer work.. end of experience.

I knew of a guy who was the poster child for the JWs. He was gorgeous, regular pioneered, excellent speaker, on his way to Bethel, gave his experiences as the conventions. In reality, he dated worldly girls and even paid for one of them to get an abortion.

What is your strangest "supernatural" JW story?
by donny ini had just became a witness and a guy i worked with, who was also a jw, told me a story that actually made me laugh and i think it upset him a bit.
the storys were almost always in the third person.
it went as follows.. this brothers wife and him were sitting at the kingdom hall on the end seats of the row next to the back of the room.

A pioneer sister told a group of us girls who were having a sleepover this story: She had been studying with this woman who one night decided to play with a Ouija board. What happened? That night she was raped by a demon. Although I had never played with one.. I couldn't sleep that night. I kept thinking that just because she mentioned the incident that maybe she opened up her home to demons and one might rape me that night.
Then there's the story of the Smurf blanket who attacked a small child and after the mother was able to get the child away, she stabbed it and blood came out.

You assume he really did commit suicide. Maybe he faked his death! He might've killed Jesus due to a power struggle. Maybe Jesus was too soft for him.
