I've always thought this was a weird phenomenon. I should look up some more info on it. Sci-fi stuff.

when you think babies, you think nappies, bibs and plastic bottles.

Hideous and ridiculous. Dress up for a 6 month old? No. Playing dress up is for older children 3+ and it's fun because you put mommy's clothes on. Baby high heels are just plain stupid.

Former J.W. Now atheist?
by Aculama injust curious.... did the disallusionment of j.w.
experience make you hate god or disbelieve everything about god?

Leaving the JWs did help in my awakening. It helped me question religion, the Bible, "spirituality", etc. I now consider myself agnostic. If there is one (and that is a HUGE IF ), I am certain the one in the Bible is not accurate.

Why is the murder rate going down?
by easyreader1970 inmany people flee to the wbts because of all of the negativity in the world, perceived or real.
"the world is going to hell in a handbasket" is the general belief of most witnesses, especially those who are of middle to low income and have to deal with the unpleasantness of things a little bit more than the well-to-do witnesses who may have their paradise right now.
anyway, something spurred me to check statistics.

Not that that site isn't credible, but I checked the official FBI Uniform Crime Report and you are correct. Crime is down in all areas.

thinking vs. feeling.. must we choose just one ?
by caliber inthinkingthinkers decide based primarily on logic, and when they do so, they consider a decision to be made.
they tend to see the world in black and white and dislike fuzziness.
feelingfeelers decide based primarily through social considerations, listening to their heart and considering the feelings of others.

is your life fulfilling and complete, moving without the drive and desire from the heart ?
Even if a person is keen on being logical, it doesn't mean they don't also follow their heart. Since when are the two separate? I hope that I am both.
I guess I am a compassionate , feeling person so I may be bias..but I honestly seek your opinions about this
Um..a person can be logical and compassionate at the same time. One does not negate the other.

My son is visiting this weekend and he wants to go back to college
by troubled mind inwhen my son was in high school he received a scholarship for two yrs at our community college .
we were all witnesses at that time , but we encouraged him to go for the education .
he would have to attend night classes two nights during the week that interfered with meetings.

I have worked during my entire college education so that paid for the bulk of it. Also, he can get federal grants he doesn't have to pay back and many colleges offer grants as well. Has he checked to see if his employer has tuition reimbursement? I work for the county and they contribute $3000 per year. Oh course there are student loans which, to me, are the last resort but they are out there. Tell him to go talk to a Financial Aid counselor at the school of his choice. To apply for loans he needs to go to: http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/.
