  well first off, i am mostly happy being single.

  i don't have this big desire to get married again, in fact i am kind of commitment shy now, and don't know how i ever would be able to function in a relationship again.

  but there are certain events and certain times of the year when i feel alone and would like a date.

  Euthanasia?

  anyone against euthanasia if you are sick with a terminal disease and you don't wish to die a protracted death?.

  i have thought about this a lot since a coworker's grandfather here in the u.s., dying painfully of cancer, drove around and saw his relatives one final time and then killed himself.

  they found him in a car by the side of the road.

  Should Prostitution Be Legalized???

  recently, in the news were reports of 90 plus year old men being arrested for soliciting prostitutes.

  i believe the charges were dropped.

  and the vast majority of people polled thought that police should worry less about prostitutes and johns and more about city government waste.. your thoughts?.

  Yes, I do believe (consenting adult) prostitution should be legal for the same reason porn is legal. The employers should require health checks but also provide insurance.

  it seems that people only worship god for the reward of a resurrection.

  people normally do not admit that, and say that even if there was no resurrection they would worship god for the life that he has given them.

  a good indication of whether this could be true is if religions existed that worshipped god but do not believe in a soul or resurrection or everlasting life.

  You didn't say this but I must ask, do you think that those us of who have noe drawn closer to divine only live by "base instinct[s]"? I certainly hope not. We have the same full range of emotion just like you. There is much more to life that these base instincts even if we are heathens .
