The REAL reason JWs want nothing to do with Xmas
by JimmyPage inthe real reason?
they're cheap!
how many times have you heard a witness say, "i am so glad we don't have to do the holidays.

The REAL reason JWs want nothing to do with Xmas...
They're apostates who publicly reject Jesus at Christmas and at the annual satanic ritual they call the 'memorial' celebration.
There you go.

Thank you Blondie this is a great review,
I can't believe that for thirty years I sat, listened, and believed everything about articles like this.
Now when I read them, or follow along on your reviews, I get a really depressed feeling, this is what I was and believed ??
Your comments really show how superficial the WT studies are and how history is twisted toward their beliefs,, yuckI completely agree.
Where's Jesus?
Oh sure, they may pay him a bit of lip service now and then, but it's apparent that JWs are "Christians" without Christ (unless you're one of the anointed, that is). It's better this way, really, because we definitely know that Jesus Christ wouldn't approve of the JWs:
2 Peter 2:1
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

But Kodak has gone one step further and has recently patented digestible tags that are harmless and intentionally fragile.
The tags would be covered with soft gelatin that takes a while to dissolve in the stomach. After swallowing a tag a patient need only sit next to a radio source and receiver. They stop working when exposed to gastric acid for a specific period of time, providing a subtle way to monitor a patient's digestive tract. With RFID tags such as those above, those who don't "cooperate" could still unwittingly get "tagged".Someone, stop this spaceship - I'd like to get off, please. I'd like to go a place where it's more safer/saner.

There would have been a sensor on the toilet, except that was determined unfeasible for the study during a pilot program this summer.
Hmm, I wonder what it was that made it unfeasible?

Although I like many of their products, I am especially fond of the rose and jasmine teas - Imperial Republic Jasmine and Snow Rose, Asian Jasmine White, and Rose Petal. Come to think of it, a new shipment of Rose Petal tea should be ready soon.
I love rose-scented tea - so much so, that if I have no scented tea available, I will add a teaspoon of rose water to a cup of brewed plain black tea. It tastes almost...lyrical.
If you have a jasmine plant, you can add the dried blossoms to regular black tea as it steeps, too.

"In Lieu of Flowers, Contributions Can Be Made To The______KH of JWs"
by minimus inrecently, a very nice witness with mental illness killed himself.
i heard many witnesses were wondering whether there would be a memorial talk given at the kingdom hall since he committed suicide.. but remember, "at the request of the family", please give no flowers, just contributions to the kingdom hall.
sadly, these folks could use the money because the man that committed suicide was financially broke and was extremely depressed..

Marjorie
It's fine to say a person had a favorite charity, but why all this bossiness about "no flowers"?...In this case it is particularly reprehensible.
Oh Rebel, I agree. But I wonder, who is really behind such a request? The family...or the elders?
Sister Marjorie would give flowers (a balm for the heart), and a monetary donation to the family (a provision for the body), because she believes in taking care of both. Apparently, the family doesn't agree. Sister Marjorie would remind the family of James 1:27:
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, [and] to keep himself unspotted from the world.
Not allowing someone to fulfill this most holy obligation would be akin to being presumptuous, would it not?
However, Sister Marjorie will not be making any donations to the Kingdom Hall, because she does not believe in throwing away good money on propagating lies.
