What is the new understanding of the 1914 generation?
by isnrblog ini was always taught the following:.
watchtower, 7/1/69 pg395:.
people who were only just old enough to understand what was happening to the world in 1914 are now approaching seventy years of age.

I just have to whine....
by isnrblog ini am sitting here wondering where my life went.. i was raised a jw, married at 19, had 2 kids.. by the time my wife was 40 she had given up on sex.
at any rate she didn't feel the need to look good for me, so she porked out.she felt i was hooked by the family, shunning thing, so why bother.
i burried myself in business, neglected my family.. i finally left at 50. i ,married a beautiful, kind woman.

Lets see if we can get some real statistics
by isnrblog insee if this makes sense to you guys.
i am tired of hearing the witnesses crow about the "growth" of the organization.
their figures reflect a growt about that ofthe worlds populatiom, 3 to 5%.

How many of you Ex Jehovah's Witnesses married early and it was a disaster?
by isnrblog inwhat a common tale.
you marry early becasue you can't have sex.. i was married at 19 and divorced at 50. the only thing that held it together was our involvement in the jw's.
otherwise it would have been over in less than 5 years.. my kids are not witnesses and have a terrible relationship with their mother, as she is always trying to shove it down their throats.. this is still happening.

Do you guys remember the big push to baptize kids?
by isnrblog init was in the 80's i think but they began stressing the urgency of baptism for anyone who was "at an age of understanding".
i heard several assembly talks that said kids under ten could be baptized if they qualified.. this sticks in my mind because my kids were 12 or so and not qualified in my view.
my ex wife pushed my daughter into baptism at 12, she is now 32, not a witness and we both laugh about it.. www.isnrblog.com.

The Witnesses want it both ways.
by isnrblog inthe bible says in matthew 7:13:
"go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; 14 whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it.
but the watchtower 2/15/06, page 12 says:

Jehovah's Witnesses: Disassociation and Lawsuits, I have a question!!
by isnrblog inmany of you who have or had been jehovahs witnesses for sometime will remember that back before say 1980 or so, the congregation could disassociate an unbaptized person and that person was treated as disfellowshipped.
that happened a lot, pre 1980.. .
for example, as a teenager in the 60s, several of the teenagers in my cong were disassociated and treated as disfellowshipped .

Would JW's would crash planes into buildings if the Society said to?
by isnrblog ini asked the three elders who disfelowshipped me this question.. basically, they replied, "the society would never tell them to do that".
thats not my question.
if they told you to, would you?.

Is the Watchtower loosing it's grip on the membership??
by isnrblog init seems that many jehovah's witnesses are not so sure about "the truth".
from this and other website/discussion groups and from my own experience a lot of witnesses are having major doubts, but seem to be hanging in the organization, probably because of the disfellowshipping thing.
i hope the bethelite that came up with that got a big bonus.. .

Is the Watchtower Society getting it's message across to the membership?
by isnrblog ini don't think everyone in the organization is clear on the new understanding of the 1914 generation.
i asked four witnesses about this and how they now understood the 1914 generation and none of them were aware of the new understanding!
as a disfellowshipped apostate, many witnesses still talk to me on me regular basis and a lot are "loosing their religion".
