  OLD PHOTOGRAPHS FROM JW DAYS

  i left the organisation 5 years ago and this morning came across some old photographs from my jw days.

  most photographs were taken in the kh, such as marriages, and at assemblies and many are of people once considered close friends - but now i find it hard to look at them.

  i asked claire, my wife, if she would like to look at them and she said she couldn't bear to, so they went in the bin.

  Its funny. Just the other day i found a old scrapbook from My pioneer school days... I couldnt bear to look at them. but i did not know if i should throw them out.. simply for the fact that it was a part of my life... I have been thinking about that book the past couple days now.

  my sister was my best friend. We told each other everything... most of the time we knew what the other one was thinking. I left and she threw me away the very next day

  i loved the 1980's and i guess that if i had a time machine, i'd go back to the early 1980's.

  I left after 9 years ...

  i just disassociated myself after nine long years in the wtbts after researching the history of the wtbts and its founders and their lies, false prophecies and mind-control doctrines.

  read my profile for more about that.

  anyway, i'm glad there is a wonderful support group for those who have escaped the grasp of the wtbts and enjoy life again without the constant fear that the wtbts instills at every meeting.

  where you live, are they declining or prospering?

  we are getting ready to have our first child in may.

  my mother who is now living in patterson(at one of the motherships) speaks to me every 1 to 2 years.

  Kicked out, No. Not in LI. I was actually raised in MA. Moved to NY with husband for his job. Looks like we are moving again soon... sigh

  how does your wife feel about that? You have to take her feelings into consideration as well... That could be a very akward thing for her. And you should point that out to your mom. The situation is not "normal" i understand completely the confusion and hurt. Talk it out with your wife before making any kind of decision.
