Hi agree,
They are guilty as the rest of the antichrists.
1 John 2 (New International Version)
Warning Against Antichrists
18 Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.
20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.[d] 21 I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth. 22 Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father and the Son. 23 No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
As you said it will be quite clearly visible to everyone!
Matthew 24:30 (New International Version)
"At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.
Matthew 24:27 (New International Version)
For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
All the best,
Stephen

Hi Velta,
1 John 1:5-7 (New International Version)
Walking in the light
5This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. 7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all[a] sin.
Looks like they are obviously in for a nasty shock :(

Elders and JWs who study a lot...
by cognac indo you think they know its not the truth???

people who actually do study a lot, you think they figured it out???.

Hi,
Interesting post.
Trouble is with JWs that they are readying a totally unholy "translation" in the first place.
Plus they are not using their own thoughts but those of the WT and its teaching when they read it. Any questions they have are brought this teaching and "light" which is itself total darkness.
If they persist with their questions too long there are labelled 'apostate' and disfellowshipped so most are in fear to keep their questions to themselves.
Lastly, JWs deny the Holy Spirit who reveals the truths in the Bible.
1 Corinthians 2:14 (New International Version)
The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
There are going to be many people who have read the Bible many times and studied it ad nauseam but haven't learnt a single truth.
Mark 10:15 (New International Version)
I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."

Can someone explain Paradise earth for me.
by Guest with Questions inmy mother has brought up this issue a few times lately and i'm a bit confused.
actually she says she's confused about it and doesn't know what to believe; that what she reads in the bible contradicts what the elders say.. she said that if you die before armegeddon you become an angel, so i assume that they will never marry or have children?
if you and your current spouse both survive armegeddon you continue to be married and have children?.

Hi,
"Can someone explain Paradise earth for me."
No problems, it is very simple.
So what is "paradise" in the bible?
Luke 23:43 (New International Version)
Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise."
2 Corinthians 12:3-4 (New International Version)
3 And I know that this man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows— 4 was caught up to paradise. He heard inexpressible things, things that man is not permitted to tell.
2 Corinthians 12:2 (New International Version)
I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know—God knows.
So Jesus and Paul said if they died they would be in paradise or third heaven (the righteous).
OK see below for the resurrections.
Revelation 2:7
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.
Revelation 21:1-3 (New International Version)
The New Jerusalem
1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.
Revelation 21:10 (New International Version)
10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.
Clearly, paradise (the new Jerusalem) will be on the new earth as it comes down out of heaven.
So here is THE most important bit.
Hebrews 9:27 (New International Version)
Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=73&chapter=20&version=31
Satan's Doom
7 When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. 9 They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God's people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. 10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
The Dead Are Judged
11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
Those in the first resurrection are those that died in the tribulation and did not worship the beast. The rein with Christ for 1000 years (the Millennium). Then there is a battle at the place called Armageddon (Rev 16:16). After this the rest of the dead are resurrected (second resurrection). Those whose names are in the Lamb's (Jesus') book of life go to live with Him in the New Jerusalem for ever and ever. Those who's names are no are tormented in the lake of fire, day and night for ever and ever.
Don't believe that or want to believe that or think that Jesus is not talking literally?
Matthew 18:9 (New International Version)
And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.
Mark 9:47-48 (New International Version)
47 And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell, 48 where
" 'their worm does not die,
and the fire is not quenched.'[a]
Matthew 7:19
Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
Isaiah 66:23-24 (New International Version)
23 From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will come and bow down before me," says the LORD. 24 "And they will go out and look upon the dead bodies of those who rebelled against me; their worm will not die, nor will their fire be quenched, and they will be loathsome to all mankind."
Hope that helps!

Hi Eliveleth,
"ALL Christians, who believe in Jesus, are following the "road that leads to life" not just Jehovah's Witnesses."
I agree with the first half of the statement but Jehovah's Witnesses are certainly NOT following Jesus.
Do they think they are saved by the blood of Jesus or by their own "good works" and professions as "Jehovah" as God? Do they partake in the New Covenant in Christ, become born again and follow Jesus' command to partake of the break and wine as Jesus instructed believers? Do they believe this verse?
1 Peter 3:18 (New International Version)
For Christ died for sins once for ALL, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit,
No, they believe it is only for the 144 000, and do not partake of the bread and wine.
Obviously they do not bleieve this verse either.
Revelation 7:4 (New International Version)
Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel.
Do they believe Jesus here?
John 10:30 (New International Version)
I and the Father are one.
Or here?
Revelation 22:13 (New International Version)
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
Or here?
John 1 (New International Version)
The Word Became Flesh
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning.
3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
This sums it up.
Romans 3 (New International Version)
22 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25 God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement,[i] through faith in his blood.

Adam and Eve - already dying BEFORE eating from tree?
by feenx ini am in the midst of reading jehovah unmasked and have come to a very interesting point.
nathaniel j. merritt says that a close reading of genesis 3:22-24 shows that adam and eve were already dying.
i found this to be a very interesting idea, in addition to the very plain and simple use of words in that passage that clearly states indeed the serpent's promise to eve was correct.

Hi,
This is an interesting point and one I have thought about before.
My belief is that neither Adam or Eve we dying physically. However, this was true.
Gen 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.
No, they did not die physically but spiritually. However, physical death was promised here
Gen 3:19 By the sweat of your brow
you will eat your food
until you return to the ground,
since from it you were taken;
for dust you are
and to dust you will return."
This verse is interesting
Gen 6:3 Then the LORD said, "My Spirit will not contend with [a] man forever, for he is mortal [b] ; his days will be a hundred and twenty years."
My guess is mortality came in with the curse and even after that, God prolonged men's lives by seven or eight times up until this point.
So, considering that God sustains all things in the universe then most likely He was going to sustain the lives of Adam and Eve indefinitely until they sinned?
After all Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
So we are left with the question of what the Tree Of Life could do for on on eating its fruit?
Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever
To understand this you need to read the end of the bible.
Revelation 22 (New International Version)
The River of Life
1Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. 4They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever. 6The angel said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place."

Hi mouthy,
Of course prayer, and fasting are real weapons of spiritual warfare.
Plus the gifts of the Spirit. Not forgetting the bible.
Unconditional love is essential in all though (1 Cor 13).

I don't like using Jehovahs' name anymore
by LouBelle ini must say the more and more i learn and find my way around my spirituallity the less i use the name jehovah.
it just reminds me of everything i went through, reminds me of the ""bad"" and not the good of god.
it reminds me of hypocracy and mind control.

Hi Narkissos,
Please read these two verses.
Rev 22:12 "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
Who is to return to earth and judge everyone? Thus quite clearly it is Jesus who is speaking in v.12 and identifies Himself as the Alpha and the Omega in v.13, same as God the Father.
It is interesting that the Spirit says the same thing in v.17
17 The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.
Really, can an 'active force' really say "come" or is it more likely a person? Supporting evidence is that the bridge is the church and they also say "come".
The only conclusion I can get from this chapter is that Jesus is one with the Father, and the Spirit (who is a person and not a thing) i.e. the Trinity.
All the best,
Stephen
