IDRONMO: I disagree with you. She is suppose to be a "Professional " tennis player. She displayed unsportsman like behavior and lacked total control and class. It is Never right to threaten someone. Her behavior was apalling and the National Tennis Assoc should levy a fine against her and even look into suspension. They have given fines to other players with bad behavior, ex. John McEnroe. It does not matter if she is a JW or how the borg views her. She was disrespectful and there should be a penalty for that, She took it way to far when she threatened to do harm.

My issues with women ...

no, i never walked around voicing my bias ... yet, over time, i must confess i have been afraid of the opposite sex.
it has only been in recent times that i have begun to fairly evaluate each individual by their conduct and not their gender.. why do i bring this matter up on this particular site?

Sorry to hear that your experience with women has been so negative. I can see why you would feel this way with the experience you had with your mother. However, your mom was an extreme and most women are not like that. I have been married for 29 years and never strayed nor has my husband. Personally, I found most of the men to be overbearing in all the KH's I attended. The women did do most of the discplining with the children because the husband was for the most part lazy and would not get off thier a$$es. The men would lord it over the women that they where the head and "do not question my authority". I had very little respect for most of these createans. JW men are overbearing, controlling for the most part. Yes, there are some exceptions but I came across very few in the 20 years I spent in that damn cult.

JW illness
by Rosey ini don't mean an illness that makes you a jw ;) that would be scary.. i was wondering if everyone else felt that there was a huge amount of illness within the borg.......if there still is?.
when i was a jw i remember there being a magazine about cfs (chronic fatigue syndrome) and me ( mylo encephalitis?
something like that) and at the time hearing a report on the radio that said it was on the increase and particularly among people in caring professions such as nurses, home workers, and jw's.

GOOD!! We pay enough in taxes . I do not want to pay for an illegal's child to go to school or for thier health care. In my area they hire teachers who can speak duel language, spanish and english. They have "special classes" for all the shildren who only speak spanish. Iam not bashing any culture. The bottom line if you are not here legally then YOU BROKE THE LAW and you should not be treated to all the perks a citizen gets. Ans for those who say do not take it out on the children, take that to the parents of the ones who choose to have these kids. It is not my responsability to take care of ones who break the law.
