.
greetings.. i have started a project that i hope will stay online for times indefinate, even to times indefinate.
you can find it at www.reexamine.org .. i started working on it in october and it is still a work in progress, however because of the shut down of the website located at http://quotes.watchtower.ca i felt that i should release the site in "as-is" condition, instead of waiting until it was completely finished.. currently, there isn't a lot of content in the 'wiki' section of the website.
hopefully in the next few days and weeks that will change, however there are still programming issues that i have to work out before that can happen.
AK - Jeff,
it's really very easy.
A zip file will usually has many files inside of it, they're sort of compressed; zipped, you know ;)
You have to unzip it; this can be done using a simple program; programs to unzip are freely available on the iNet. You could download one here: http://www.trans4mind.com/personal_development/zipper/, there're instructions on the page on how to unzip a zip file.
Once the files are unzipped, you see them as they are: clear files ready for use to undo the WT.
:)
.
auld soul posted about a mirror site at www.reexamine.org/quotes/index.htm and so i checked it out.
i went onto the homepage www.reexamine.org and surfed around a bit and clicked onto the "community portal" and found a download section: .
http://www.reexamine.org/index.php/reexamine:community_portal:publication_downloads:secret_publications .
Surely, more than a few Bethel Morons took part in writing that tortured Child Custody document. It's a clear shot to the foot.
Slightly retarded monkeys may have done a tad better were they to be able to write.
.
sorry if there are those apostates here that do this, but you were often the butt of a joke and nothing taken serious.
i personally loved the ones who wore paper bags over their head, as they were often people still afraid of getting in trouble.
it is not like a political rally with people saying "make love, not war.
Pratt: excellent point!
When I was a "study" and went to the Assembly with a bunch of brothers and sisters, I recall asking why they appeared to despise the picketers so much (it was all so clear in the attitude of the JWs; their reaction was, to me, insxplicable). Unfortunately, I missed most of the garbled explanations they gave. I should add that the picketers were very civil and orderly; they kept their cool, and you could almost feel their pain by touch; they wore signs; one of them written in the colour of blood read: "Blood Doctine is Murder in Disguise", or sth like that. It was touching.

maybe i'm tired but........at the risk of seeming overly critical, there have been a number of posts on this forum where the spelling and punctuation have been abysmal.i have no problem with the occasional error but the subjects here tend to be somewhat more complicated and it makes it too much of an effort if i have to keep re-reading things to figure out what the missing word was or where the sentence ends.one academic said it was no big deal as even his professors were poor spellers!well i've got news for you guys, if you don't sharpen up your grammer i'm not even going to try to give you the courtesy of figuring out what you're talking about.
.
now,i'm going to have shower and go to bed and i want this thing sorted out by tomorrow.love pete.
What 'bout those of us for whom English isn't a first language?
Speck and Rafter in the eye and all that...
.
for the first time today, i saw the brochure the society publishes to prepare jw parents in dealing with custody issues.
they have sample questions that a lawyer might ask and sample answers you might give that take the bite out of the question.. one such question is, "do you teach that it is better to die than to take a blood transfusion?".
the suggested answer is interesting, since the big news recently highlighted how the watchtower has dishonestly suggested that blood transfusions carry more risks than benefits.
The Child Custody document is here: http://black.mydnspages.com/~vbpics/ChildCustody.pdf
Indeed, the WTS completely ignores the religious argument in the recommended response to the question on blood transfusion. This perhaps because the religious argument is bound to fail in court? The WTS has itself dug a shallow grave for themselves. What's needed is the will of the genuinely aggrieved to get them into it.
.
i do.
i'd like to tell all of you active jw spies that i appreciate it when you tell us the latest.
Here's the link to the Child Custody document from another thread here on JWD:

Congrats man; congrats.
May your road be smooth
.
this is what i see in the circles
just miss one and you're colorblind to some extent.. .
and the results below.
Hmmnn, JH, you sure?
You sure there ain't a thing morr than colour in not being able to nothing onthe last line?
I suspect that decline that begins slowly at 30 and ends in, er, disintegration of everything mental has already begun
.
i originally thought of posting this thread last week when a thread was started last week: .
http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/104099/1.ashx .
this girl didn't seem to realize the extent of the "apostasy" on this thread.
CYP: thoughtful post.
I recall how I'd've acted were I the visiting JW; how quickly many of us forget. Posts like these are needed to set people straight and hammer ideas like these into minds. We all know what scathing, intense opposition leads to for the JW: confrimation that they're doing exactly ehat's right, and that what the WTS has predicted would happen has come true. We must not let that happen. For me, I tecd to draw a clear distinction between the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society on the one hand, and members of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses on the other hand; many/most of those of the second deserve to be treated with kid gloves; but the wolves of the first may occassionaly deserve heavy pounding.
