i have a question about signing the suicide card.
i'm not sure if my jw has signed the suicide card or not.
i have not seen it in his wallet.

This whole card thing... Yet, another thing that scares me about having kids. I'm afraid that something will happen to my baby and I won't make it there on time and hubby will refuse a blood transfusion and my baby dies... What a petrifying thought...
i am trying to figure out to whom the kingdom halls belong.
if they belong to the wts then that would be a nice scam on there part, well another one to add to the list.
The reason for this is that many years ago, back in the 1970s, I believe in Texas. There was a congregation where some of the elders apostcized. The congregation split in two with one pro Society and others dissenters. The Society attempted to remove the dissenters as they were meeting in the hall as a separate congregation. As a result because the elders who apostacized were listed as the trustees and owners of the Hall, they took control of the hall, the the pro-Watchtower congregation left when they found suitable accomendations for themselves.
ROTFLOL!!!!!!!! I was just gonna ask about that... What if they decided to just sell it and pocket the money? Could they do that???

someone who has kicked depression and booze and has even helped sober her dad up and he is a pitiful story.....jw....multi-millionair elder/pioneer who lost it all....due to bi-polor and booze....was in prison for two years on booze crimes, but has now been sober for almost three years.....his daughter is an incredible woman massage therapist, and also teaches holistic healing.....don't know a lot about that, execept i have been helped a lot by accurpuncture and they take this holistic approach...bit btw here.....angie has helped totally awaken her dad and brother!!!!
i am so excited to have found someone who wants to help me, thinks they can, and have sooooo much in common with and i will let you know if she can walk on water.............i am taking back my life!!!

there were a few things that i hated about being a witness.. i love music and live concerts.
quite often i'd have to play my music privately or hide an album cover for fear it might "stumble" someone.
i hated worrying whether someone was going to somehow get "stumbled.. regarding going to concerts, it seemed that certain artists only came to town on a meeting night and i'd miss the shows.. what did you hate about being a jehovah's witness?.
Not being able to sleep in - EVER!!!!!!!!!

wow, oompa, that's great!! how are you doing now, this second??? Were you able to get through the entire day? How late are you up til? (I just wanted to know if you were able to make it through an entire day, your first day!!!)
i just dont think i can take it anymore....my wife of 11 years is such a great gal... but we are just not connecting anymore......otwo says hang in there...as she may come around and wake up!!
!....but the extreme differences in our lifes are starting to take a toll...and may be making me want to drink too much.....i should not need to self medicate like this!!

If he does look back, I hope he sees that we were trying to help...
I might not be saying the right things, and I did suggest professional help, but I do believe that he can do whatever if takes to get the help he needs. It will take a lot of work, and only he can do that. But, i want to be supportive...
I will apologize now, Oopma, if I did or said the wrong thing... I, in my honest heart of heart, want the best for you, and I'm sorry if I crippled you in any way... I am not an expert on the matter... Please do whatever you have to do to get better... I only want to support you in your endeavors...

growing up jw sucks big time.
out in the cold in service, out in the heat in service, 30 hours a week of meetings, service, prep, family study (at least) on top of homework, chores, limited access to friends, getting dragged in front of a jc every time a stupid rumor comes up, constant pressure to "narc" on your friends, no extracurricular activities, no higher education, having to hate everyone not a jw etc, having to kiss ass to anyone who has abused you/screwed you over if you don't have "proof"... any more reasons?
You are making the classic new ex-JW mistake of narrowing yourself down to only two choices. This is the type of black and white thinking that JW's teach you to do. It's hard to stop even when you leave. First you have to notice that you are doing it.
You are right... But I just associate him with being apart of murderers.... And I can't accept that... Its so difficult, and the white and black thing you speak about is so right... I just don't know how to get out of thinking that I am having kids with somebody that supports murdering people... Even if he doesn't realize he's doing it, he is, in fact doing it. And I want no part of it, and I don't want my kids any part of it and I don't want to be married to somebody that is any part of it... Please, show me how to adjust my viewpoint so that I can have kids....
