21Don't want to celebrate holidays even with my daughter...
by cognac ini feel like its so much work, stressful, commercialized and since i never formed the habit of it i hate the idea of celebrating them.
i wouldn't mind buying presents for my daughter on christmas and maybe doing a treasure hunt for halloween (i don't want her taking candy from even my neighbors) and things like that so she doesn't feel left out or like she's missing something.
just something easy and informal...

Circuit Assembly This Past Weekend "Safeguard Your Spirituality" -Everyone Please Enter-
by tryingtoexit inso we had our circuit assembly this past weekend, and it was the first one in my life that i told my wife i would not be attending.
we had a brief conversation on why, and she said well just go to this last one with me, and then when we can discuss what we learn and compare it to why you've been expressing your "new" feelings towards the wts.. i love my wife, and as much as i thought i was gonna hate it i decided to go.
now that i no longer want to be a jehovah's witness it really didnt bother me that nobody hardly talked to me despite me living in this same area for 4 1/2 years, everybody views me as spiritually weak because i dont go out in service, rarely attend meetings, dont comment, lesson is never underlined, so the "friends" never interact with me anyway and i'm use to it, actually that's the way i prefer it.

omg, she friggin talks you into going, then proceeds to get mad at you when you didn't even want to go there to begin with. I mean really, if she's gonna be pissy with you no matter what you do you shoulda just stayed home to begin with...

The "what an a$$" / "pain in the a$$" thread...
by cognac inso, hubby and i actually went to a mtg this week.
during the bookstudy, an elder asked who would benefit from something scripturally.
i actually raised my hand and said, "anyone who applies it"... he said, "that's true, but more specifically"... then, of course somebody raised there hand and said "jws".... what an a$$.... i'm on facebook and have befriended some jws.

She was referring to a house in the WT. It was kinda weird, cause all my worldly friends would read this, "I want that house on page 8 of the watchtower in the new system."

there was a little boy in the back seat that was about 8 years old.
i was now a ghost.
