i knew a few like that , the worst one was local congregation paedophile that had so much to say about others , when i look back now at some of the things he used to judge people for , what a damn cheek he had considering the things he had done that hadnt come out at that point in time.

so as many of us have experienced over the years since being out, out past can certainly play a role and often does in our present lives.
my past has crept into my relationship, and as my gf did not feel equipped to handle and/or talk about any of it, this was a large factor in what led to our breakup this weekend.
i've felt like i'm going to puke since about 4 a.m. saturday.
Wow, I'm really sorry Feenx. Your right, you can't help the issues that you have to overcome and it takes great strength and might to work towards becoming more emotionally healthy when you have been through a lot. And your right, you shouldn't ignore it. If you do that it will eat at you on the inside until you no longer feel anything. Your need for your partner in life to be ok with listening to you is perfectly understandable... I'm sorry for what you are going through and I admire that you are trying to work through it instead of ignoring it... I know we can't do much on the other side of a computer, but we are here to listen whenever you feel like talking...
if you take all the fluff out of a public talk, i,e.
the "state of this system of things," the bad news report, negative stats.
you're basically left with a service talk, aimed not at the public but the dubs.. i noticed that when the public talks were cut by 15 minutes what resulted was a 30 minute service talk or at the very least, a 30 minute local needs talk because all congregations seem to have the same problems.. these talks definitely seem to have a harder tone to them because you have all the counsel compressed into half an hour.. have any of you here who still attend noticed this?.
I avoid listenning at all costs... I know they were giving a lot of statistics in the last talk, but that's about all I caught onto...

Wow, I'm really sorry this has happened... It sucks when the past creeps into your present life. I'm sure that you don't want it to, but it has this way of not going away and weighing you down... I'm sorry... If you want to talk more about it, we are here to listen...
well, you know how the whole thing came out about only using the "society's literature" came out a few months ago?
well, a few days later i went up to the po to basically tell on myself that i used strongs concordance and exactly which website i go to for a lot of my research.
he said that was fine and that the society was just avoiding people spending hours on non wt literature just either wasting there time or trying to prove the society wrong.... ok, so fast forward to this past weekend, i was over his house with my husband for dinner.

Ok, so fast forward to this past weekend, I was over his house with my husband for dinner. I brought up in conversation that I use this website just because they were talking about research. Right away, she said, "Does the society put that out?" I just said no, but the society uses Strong's frequently (that's what the website is for) and stated some brief reasons and examples of why I felt it was very beneficial... Anyways, she was just disgusted but her husband didn't take her side, he just nodded approvingly and didn't say to much...
She happens to be a bit opinionated while her husband is not like that at all. I have the feeling she is going to have a long, discussion with her husband of why he should have or should say something to me...
has anyone read this?
i was at my parents house over the weekend and wow what a dozy.
i did my usual critique of it in ink pen and threw it in the "placement" pile.

ROTFLOL!!!
No, I didn't read it but that was too funny!!!
i've noticed since the watchtowers tax problems, and publications now being offered without a price for "donations" the quality has gone down to save money $$$$ first the new calander is half the size of the original a4 size....it's hard to write your witnessing hours!
remember the hard cover books that last forever...now paperback!!
monthly awakes and study article only watchtowers for witnesses, saves alot of paper and printing.
The most shocking thing for me was when BIBLES became paperback...
I mean, how horrible is it to make a bible look that cheap??? Even "worldy" bibles look very respectable...
there was an elder that asked me to fix his computer.
i was being nosy and found out he looked at a lot of porn.
he was a nice guy and was at bethel for years... i never said anything about it....

......or have they changed that rule...and made it a "conscience matter"??
thanks for your help..... lavendar .
i could see me trying to explain this to the elders....
Elder A, I told that nurse to separate all the blood out, then out it all into my body separately. Then the other nurse came in and combined all the fractions into one bag when I wasn't looking... I'm just as mad as you are!!!

What if they separated the blood all out into components, then mixed them up again, then what???
