My JW Wife....an evil twin has emerged

i have let my wife know many times that it is me that has changed not her...and i know it has been very hard on her and not really fair.

but now on the rare occasion i mention something like why the hey would god ever let these earthquakes occur, and what in the heck does that have to do with universal sovereignty, and what an unbalance puishment thousands of years of death is for two people eating a fruit.....she will stand....pace....sound defiant...more like a drill instructor than a wife or dub...and just rattles off the indoctrinazation....scary..i could feel the icepick through my ribs.....this is a new development...and i wonder if the elders are "strengthening" her.

btw....god kills them in earthquakes so they will know they should be serving him???

Oompa I feel for you, but imo she is not an evil twin, she is your wife but she is brainwashed and that makes her have two personalities.They all seem to be like that.

I saw it in my MOM who I loved dearly but she drove me crazy when the Jehovah personality immerged, she would be talking normally and treating me, my kids and grandkids like any other mother/grandmother and suddenly she would bring up JW religion crap. She would just drone on and on but You don't dare interject with something negative against what she was saying. Her eyes would just glaze over and she would keep repeating the same thng over and over not listening.

I used to just change the subject and bring her flowers, bring out family photo albums, make her something nice to eat, take her out to lunch (she loved that). I treated her boring cult sermons with change the subject and lets do something fun/nice.

never wanted to be a JW MS and never was allowed to be one. My Dad was the PO.

I was a regular pioneer once.

I now have MS but never was a Jw MS LOL

Today I am going to buy a boat.....

it's sunday, and i need to get away from my reality for a bit.. going to buy a boat.

needs to have a cabin, potty, shower, etc....how big a boat would that have to be?

then i have to decide where to go.

What a great plan, and a big project. Lucky you being able to do that. Do you live near deep water.

I am sure you will find volunteers to be captain for it as well as someone to haul it for you. Summer boating is a huge Treat!!!!

Boats and the water are my passion. Unfortunately I can't afford a boat with a cabin right now. I am waiting to have my little jet boat (seats 4) put in the water at my dock on Tuesday.

I used to sail, in the Toronto Harbour and in the Caribbean. NOthing like it. Nowadays a motor boat is more my style and of course needs a "head" and a "galley" and a bunk to sleep in. I live on a river so we can only use jet boats, fishing boats or pontoon boats (boats in my body of water have to have shallow draft) as there are narrows and shallow rapids in some places before we get up to the deeper lakes. My river leads into a Huge lake just below me (I can't get in that one because there is a dam in the way) and there they have gorgeous big boats that people can live on all summer. That would be Heaven to me.

Love the boats, good luck wings and when you get your boat, hope you can share the experience with us.

I am not being sarcastic, just joking about the MS thing. I have MS (multiple sclerosis) and its a pain and a curse. Not much different than the MS JW version LOL

i am spending it having a very unfruitful yard sale !

been out here since six am and have only had two people stop !

one bought a 50cent paperback book .

Doing a yard sale doesn't sound to exciting, hope it picks up for you. Its rainy and cold here today, I don't think a yard sale would be successful here but there is one on my street today.

I have been on JWD all morning, now I am going to spend the rest of the day hanging out with my Honey. Its an inside day, whatever will we do LOL.

I agree with you 100%, I don't think the trust is there yet. Who is HW??? I am new here too so my opinion is not that much value but its my 2 cents.

i walked out to my car to get a few things before i go to bed, and man its cold out there, i could see my breath.

Hi

Its cool here too in Kawartha Lakes Ontario. I am about 2 hours northeast of Toronto. Its pouring rain today, YUK. Yesterday it was sunny and beautiful. The weekend is here and now its awful.

Its a long weekend here in Canada and I live in an area where all the city people swarm to their cabins on the lake on long weekends starting this weekend.

It was crazy in my little town yesterday, everyone rushing through with campers and trailers and 5th wheels, scooping up supplies for the weekend on the Lakes. Now today its gloomy, cold and pouring rain. I feel bad for the people, whatever will they do all weekend??

Summer hurry up and get here. I want warm sunny weather.
