  i heard it myself from a friend!

  scientists from all over the world are reporting unprecedented increases in vulture population - armageddon must be near!!!!!!!

  Since the vultures will be sent by god to do his cleanup work, there could possibly be new light(tm) that will require the bothers and sisters to eat the vultues. Spiritual food at the proper time.(tm) I hope for their sake they do taste like chicken.

  Of course it would be improper to speculate on such matters(tm) We will just have to wait on Jehovah(tm) to see. However the WTS does not go beyond what is written(tm) so all that can be confirmed for sure is that anyone who does not join the WTS cult spritual paradise(tm) will have their flesh and eyes picked apart as their dead rotting corps' lays on the ground.

  the press conference will be on tuesday morning at 10:30 am with a group of about 6-10 persons from the new york area attending at the front door of 25 building.

  we ask you deliver an adapted version of the press release below as a representative of silentlambs to your local media and i will provide you with a prepared text to read at the press conference.

  Silentlambs is formally requesting the church to establish a tribunal to prosecute the governing body for their crimes against children.

  The average JW is a brain dead follower of the GB, looking to them as equal to Christ. Don't mean to rain on your parade but I think we will see pigs fly before this will happen.

  I can see the reduction of printing of the WT & Awake mags in the future. My subscription ran out 3 months ago and no dub has come by. I guess they are waiting for me to come back to the meeting to pick up my mags. I must have quite a stack there by now. LOL

  Family members of molested

  who here has had a family member molested by a jw?.

  my neice was molested by her jw step father.the elders went to court in his behalf.the congergation banned together and sent an avalanche of letters to the court, stateing that he was a good clean christian.the judge believed them over my 11 year old neice.he was sent back to live with her.. this was at an english speaking congergation in salinas california.if anyone knows an elder named deitrick(not sure of the spelling)beware!!

  My sister was molested at age 14 by a brother in our congregation. She is still an active JW and I did not know this about her until the Dateline program aired and we talked about it.

  My parents were told not to say anything to anyone else about it. They were told not to report it to the police.

  The same brother who molested my sister did so to other young girls in the congregation over many years. He has been disfellowshiped multiple times yet I never knew exactly why.

  Several families moved away from the congregation after he did this to their daughters.

  Last I knew he was serving as a MS in the same congregation when this happened 30 years ago.

  Next year's intl conventions - for PR?

  next year, jw's have international conventions at least in switzerland, spain, s africa, japan and australia.

  they usually have their big conventions in countries where they desperately need some positive pr, so what is going on in these countries?.

  Sounds like great vacation spots for the members of the Governing Body to travel to.

  Wonder why they never have them in Bosnia, Malawahi, (sp?) Etheopia, India, Pakistan, Afgahnistan. Could it be that these poor countries just don't offer the comforts that the members of the GB expect when they travel to international conventions.

  I guess when Jehovah wipes out all the poor people from these countries at armageddon it will be their own fault for not taking care of "the least of Jesus brothers" in the fashion they expect.

  every so often we get so stuck with specifics and the latest wt scandals or doctrinal nuances that it's good to get back to the basics.

  that is the purpose of this thread.

  i cannot count the times that, when dubs arguments are demolished with quotes from their own literature and practices, they resort to this statement in sheer desperation: well, at least weve got the basics right.

  Great information showing how the WT has missed the mark of true Christianity.

  I would be interested in reading the WT article about their regrets of modern laws doing away with the law of stoning. If you have the reference I would appreciate it.

  as a few may recall watchtower policy has changed when circumstances serves the interest of the governing body in getting rid of someone they want to railroad.

  an example that has been offered involves peter gregerson.

  peter was a personal friend to ray franz, in 1980 peter wrote a letter to the society, saying he wanted no further association with the organization.

  rick wakeman was back with them...quite a grand exibition of splendid musicianship.. i highly recommend listening to them and seeing them if you get the opportunity..

  Hello Pomegranate,

  Yes was the very first concert that I ever saw as a teenage in 1979, and has always been one of my favorites. Do they still have the revolving circular stage? I would go see them again if they return to my area. A show I will never forget.
