i just knew it wasnt in my heart, my parents dont care but i told them that i dont want to go to any meeting or talk to any of our old friends.. they still dont know why..but i fell like it was to much of a currupted situation..i felt like i was taking orders from man, not from god.

i was not baptized yet, but i was going strong in the ministry as a unbaptized publisher.

4/92 kingdom ministry while the information presented in our kingdom ministry is in the form of suggestions and not rigid rules, it is still a fine source of reference material that should be a part of each congregation kingdom hall library.. .

can you imagine what would happen to jws who have disfellowshipped and da'd family members who didn't obey the rigid rules on how to treat their family members in the august 2002 kingdom ministry?

Causing divisions in the congregation is the catch all. If you don't agree with the elders and give them any trouble you are causing divisions. They can apply it to anything even if they can't back up their "ridged rules" with scripture. Seen it first hand.

There was a similar quote in a WT magazine recently anyone remember what it was? Something to the effect that true christains do not make hard and ridged rules.....

Thanks for the quote, I may use it in the future.

One of the biggest responsibilities of a civilized society is to protect those who can't protect themselves. This would be the Children.

Mr Brown should let the GB speak for themselves otherwise he shares in every child rape that occurs because of this policy.

i have a request.. could you perhaps state all the real facts that support the idea of the gb being inspired by god?.

i am not talking about feelings, faith etc.

but of real proveable fact...things that would be accepted in a court or that would survive scientific testing.

It is interesting that the leaders in the time of Jesus also requested a visual sign as proof that he was the Messiah, but Jesus did not give them a sign.

Translation: Jesus didn't have to prove it so we don't either because we represent Jesus.

It is interesting how the GB raises itself to the same level of their master and place themselves in the Judgement seat that acording to scripture only Christ can claim.

TH, I wish she was ready to speak out, but she will not at this time as all her family is in the organization and she just had an incedent of the elders spying on her personal life so she is very paranoid about everything right now.

Another hurdle is the fact that being taught your entire life that speaking anything negative against the orginization is the unforgivable sin. It takes a lot of intestinal fortitude along with a certain amount of deprogramming before a person is ready to speak out.

Do you know if this is a tv or new paper reporter?

I subscribe to the St Louis post dispatch and could get a recording of the report if on TV.

I know a SL in that area but she is not at a place right now where she could make public statements.

It is very sad that the fear of loosing family, do to the WT shunning policy continues to silence the lambs.
