In this video, one Russian religious law expert says however that 'it's hard to prove what current law they're breaking'.

swiss people decided in a referendum last sunday that they do not wish to have muslim mosques build in switzerland.
while many european countries, like france did not liked the idea claiming that it is against human rights.... .
but france and other european countries forget what is going on in most of the muslims countries, or even the problems they are facing within their own countries by the muslim communities.

The French position is not extreme. Also the Vatican, the moral authority of many hundreds of millions of Roman catholics around the world, condemned the Swiss minaret ban.
Antonio Maria Sveglio, president of the pontifical council on migration, told the ANSA news agency that "we are on the same page" as the Conference of Swiss Bishops.
In a statement after Sunday's vote, the conference said it "heightens the problems of cohabitation between religions" while secretary-general Felix Gmur told Vatican Radio it was "heavy blow to religious freedom and integration".
I don't believe it's a good thing when "religious freedom and integration" come under pressure. As far as I know, Swiss territory has not been hit by muslim terrorism. The referendum was launched by a small far-right political faction that used fear-mongering rhetoric, linking minarets to a full-fledged Islamic burqa invasion.
I've been several times to Switzerland, but I've only seen tourists wearing it.
found this article by some guy named john w scott that says jw's are not a cult.. .

bangalore.
As a result, Jehovah's Witnesses have stated in recent years in their literature, that they do subscribe to the idea of microevolution, as one example, while not embracing macroevolution but holding to the Bible account of the creation of the first man and woman in Genesis.
Is that proof they're not a cult? Do you know a single religion that does not believe in microevolution - JW definition?
I suppose you have never heard of this thing called "humour"...
I wish it was.
It's wonderful how you manage to squeeze Derrida, existentialism, Sartre and postmodernism in one sentence, probably ignorant (or would he really do it on purpose?) of the radically opposing views of these different thinkers.
I just discovered that his last post on this board was his 9999th. Maybe he's just waiting for an appropriate 10,000th.
thanksgiving is a secular holiday apparently so this post from a facebook buddy resonated with me today.
(props to ravenp).
a humanist thanksgiving proclamation.
Neither God nor master
funny enough, i never read about verbal attacs against this agressive, fascistic religion in the wt!.
how come?
just because the roman catholics are their favorite enemies?.
They're no threat to the WT.
this is somthing the gb likes to assert.
but they ignore the many atheists in the world as they do so.
i have been coming more and more to terms with the fact that i don't blieve there is a god out there, gradually i am accepting this..
I don't think humans are programmed to believe in God. However almost all cultures share an interest in spirituality in an attempt to give meaning to the world around.
Many instances of culture without God can be found in Asia, one example being buddhism.
If it didn't exist, all our efforts to obtain it would be in vain.
