  Do you think JW's really know the "Truth" about the "Truth"?

  with the many threads surfacing here focusing on internet access opening eyes of beleivers and the unsuccessful d2d work, how many do you think really know the truth and are just going with the motions?

  and if so, what is there reasoning?

  It's sad to say, but when I was "in" I was really "in".

  I was a deep researcher, especially of the Hebrew Scriptures, and even when faced with dilemmas like the glorious nation of Israel having started with one man screwing two four women (one of whom he hated) to come out with "God's chosen people" - I still somehow justified it with it being "just a different time", "closer to perfection" (don'tcha know) and somehow I reconciled that God approved of polygamy back then, whereas now you're gonna die at Armageddon for it.

  It's all a load of rubbish. The secret to the believing is in the mind control techniques that are employed by the JWs.

  simon and mods...i am getting pms and e-mails from our newbies...even asking me to post what they want to post.

  ?....cause they have blueball from having to wait so long to register here and post.....i just think that it may be a good idea to loosen rules some to let them post at least three times a day and unlimited after that.

  isn't that what mods are for?....to catch anything that is a prob and kill it?...so if that provision is in place...then why the limit?.........these newbies are bustin at the seams........so why have these strict limits if we have mods?....now that last one is my question....i posted the rest for the newbies.........oomps.

  Yeah I remember one night at the bookstudy, there was this pause in the prayer and one of the teenage boys let rip with an almighty fart... The whole room was shaking with laughter and the brother giving the prayer was trying desperately not to laugh.... ahhhh
