  how can we serve our loving father in the heavens?

  even though most of us have severed our ties with the wts we still love god and want to please him.i would like to know in what direction some of you have gone?

  To serve the Father "with spirit and with truth", firstly you need faith , then , knowledge , then...

  You have to understand , Jehovah has no earthly organisation !
  He has a people !
  To His people He will give the Kingdom !
  But before to that , this people had to be opressed !

  - conscience is a hypothesised ability or faculty that distinguishes whether our actions are right or wrong.

  it leads to feelings of remorse when we do things that go against our moral values, and to feelings of rectitude or integrity when our actions conform to our moral values.

  Wow.. I have changed

  as many of you are aware i have accepted i am an alcoholic for a couple of years, whilst cutting down loads over this period of time i recently have decided to attend aa, which has been a real help.. i have just looked through some old topics i posted, dating back to 2001, (which was a real dark period in my life).

  what i have realised is how i have changed, call it growing up, whatever you like.

  i find it interesting to see my opinions on matters and what i was going through at the time.. i would recommend anyone to have a browse through their old posts and see if it is the same for yourselves.. paul.

  now that they have adjusted the generation again , if you were still a braindead, what date would you be thinking of ?.

  and for those still attending, what is the word going around ?.

  Peter-John - in your other threads you mention a blog saying the end is now. It quotes scriptures such as Joel from 3000 years ago, saying come to Jehovah now. Do you really believe "now" meant "the twenty first" century, and not the time period Joel was referring to. Jesus was referring to event in his time. However, over the last few thousand years, people have always applied these prophecies to their day. Are we expected to believe that since we are alive now, it should just so happen to apply to us?

  Friend , the word "now" is anytime when a God worshipper got aknowledged of his sins or falls . He have to "come back" to God , or to repent .

  Also , the prophecies using the word "now" - as Joel's , are reffering to the Day of judgement .

  Because the Day of judgement started in autumn 2005 , the word "now" is present for all !

  well , no date is given to the christian , regarding the phisical destruction of the kingdom's enemies...
  
  but the last date spoken in Bible is that one :
