  WHAT DO U THINK WILL HAPPEN???

  hi all.. my mother in law got "a talking to" by 2 elders today.

  thing is, we all live together, my jw mother in law, my disassociated wife and i, and, our little girl.

  we have all been living together for 5 months or so.

  who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh

  Doesn't that apply to ALL JWs - seeing as they view the parousia of Christ as being visible to only the spiritually discerning?

  They just keeping piling on their own demise..... trouble is so many are blind to the facts.

  What is "the heathful teaching"? That you throw your kith and kin out into the street? Feel the love!

  I became an orphan this year..... my mother will not speak since we got married. Yet, before the wedding she said my new wife is jsut the right person for me. Go figure!

  31 Years A Watchtower Slave

  my other half has accepted this.. after many years of fading i have stopped going altogether.

  i still have friends and family in so i'm happy to remain inactive.. .

  i was never a very good watchtower slave to begin with.. i was raised in the truth but i never really put my heart and soul into the religion.

  I remember when Schell's book came out and the then C. Servant said, "It took thirty years to find that out. Not very clever then." Well, he got disfellowshipped about 15 years later!
  
  There is only so much the human psyche can endure on the the basis of "This is the Truth".

  Why couldn't I see the hypocrisy earlier? Or, did I and they frightened my out of it by telling I'm weak and need to be in the ministry more....... Grrrr!

  however, when one takes a look at the graphic that they show.

  my son has come to stay with me for the summer, and this morning i got a phone call which showed on the caller id as my son's grandparents (my jw ex's parents who are also jw).

  i assumed it was my ex calling from their house and answered handing the phone to my son.

  that's when i heard his grandma's voice on the phone.

  Funny you should mention this now......
  
  I was at supermarket today and was hoping upon hope that I'd meet a JW (that I'd know). I was itching to get their reaction to my normal, human, respectful behaviour. I've DF'd 4 years and have been trying to fathom these stupid rules I didn't undertand them 40 years ago either!

  i am shocked and saddened by the things that i have learned from this website and a few others i've seen.

  my grandma was a witness and my mom started to study seriously when i was 8 yrs.

  i was baptised at 13-way too young.
