Back Again about Disfellowshipment.... Please Help!!

if someone can pick at this and help me deal with being disfellowshiped please do so.... i know alot of you are going to be like duh will don't go to jw website or stay away from it.

Far be it for me to reword the NWT!
I just saw the phrase "anyone called a brother". Who calls them brother(s)? If you get disfellowshipped you're no longer a 'brother'. If you disassociate yourself your definitely not a 'brother'! Therefore, through simple logic you've become placed outside the brotherhood so the rules (those of the GB) suddenly have no credibility or substance as applied to yourself.
Paul's admonition, therefore, is to quit mixing with 'bad' brothers! You've been thrown outside the brotherhood so, in a way, your status is reset - to that of a wordly person. Ok, the reasoning is simplistic but is the Bible supposed to be complicated or complex? The complications come from the torturous twisting and turnings of the JW bent on maintaining the unscriptural, unchristian act of shunning.
To my mind, this action alone, puts Love outside. I could go on for hours about this.
The important thing is for you to find the peace that Christ gives if you believe that is what you want .... that, believe it or not is simple if you look for it with an open heart and mind.

All the above is sound advice - you do well to heed it. More importantly it is your life and, I guess, you believe God has given you your life. Use the time out of the organization to see exactly what he is expecting from you - NOT what men think he is expecting from you. Half the time they're protecting their own position, not that of the individual or the congregation. The GB have given them this tool of shunning to ostensibly discipline but instead, they wield it as a weapon over the remainder of the flock to hold them in fear.
It has struck me lately that I was told it is good to have fear, fear of displeasing Jehovah! Never once did I consider how twisted that has become.... think about!
My father when he was alive (an elder) ALWAYS said nobody should ever be disfellowshipped for wrongdoing. If they are repentant enough they won't be - as long as the JC is not corrupt, but that's another story. Anyway, how does a spirit appointed committee of men have corrupt members? A contradiction of Jehovah's justice.
I followed those links and spotted something in Paul's writings I'd not spotted before.... "Quit mixing in company with anyone called a brother that is a fornicator or a greedy person [or guilty of another gross sin], . . . not even eating with such a man."
Suddenly, I see a get out in their own reasoning..... "anyone called a brother". Disfellowshipping from within the GB's own rules removes the title of brother so, Paul's admonition no longer has substance. Especially does this apply to a person who has disassociated his or herself!
One thing I'd like to mention. I was 'in' for 35 years and always had difficulty with DF'ing. It has taken my time away to CLEARLY see what is/was going on. Please use your time to study, objectively, the things you've been taught and you have learned. You're a thinking person and are aware of your situation within your own, living context. It is that which will indicate to you the right way to go. Indeed, it is only you that really knows what IS right for you.
Have peace but first of all forgive yourself for the guilt that is being heaped on you. Recognise where it comes from - yourself, god or a bunch of rule driven men. Goodness, that's what the Pharisees were!

i only came on here to meet new people and have chats etc...yes i am a jw and do love jah.....but im also just an average person who im pretty sure many of you would get on with if we had the time to chat about other things too.... i think some want me to go....sad but yes true.....if you all want me to go then i'll do that..im fine with it as i just want to please people...... i know jb and some say they want to go to my elders,and honestly im fine with that but surely if someone is threatening then they clearly dont want me on here...... time to go???????
or as big brother would say "who goes...you decide"?

Governing Body: Why Do You Want The Disloyal?

it should be evident by now that an untold number of people in the organization do not really want to be jehovah's witnesses any longer.
specifically, they don't want to attend meetings, or to donate money to the worldwide work, or spend real time going door to door.

by NotBlind intoday, sept. 14th, is the big day when jw's are supposed to be able to download the new songbook music from the jw.org website.. and their website seems to have crashed.. too much traffic/demand for the new tunes?
or was it hacked?.
