Sounds like your day has started off bad but hopefully will improve. We woke up to snow falling yesterday but of course it was all gone by 11am.
I don't think I like winter time very much.
the weather people all were making a big deal out of snow supposedly coming to the area....riiiiight...even if it did snow the ground is too warm (which of course the make sure to say) for it to stick...all we got was a bit of ice on the windshield and the street are a little slick...nothing substantial.. this morning the front and rear windshields on my fiancees car are iced over.
i went out and warmed the car up for her.
the car door and the wipers were frozen.

for those of you who signed up for the secret santa 2009 list here is where you give your secret santa an idea of things you might like.
it's hard enough to give gifts to people you know nevermind people you have never met.. so bearing in mind the $15 limit give us an idea what your favorite interests, colors are, or what things you might like.. in the past people have suggested something for their new christmas tree, a book, a cd of their favorite music, something from where their secret santa lives (something with the city's or country's name on it or an widely known item.. once people get their name they will be able to check back here to get an idea of what your interest is before they go shopping.. if you say "anything" or don't post then expect a surprise..
Oh one more thing, I don't care what I get from my Secret Santa. I'd mainly like a new friend to talk to.

No spirtual food allowed. This is supposed to be fun.
did you at least want to say "hi"?
or did you avoid them like the plague?.
Yes I did. I always hated shunning someone. It seemed so cruel. I've apologised to one person just yesterday for the way I ignored her for years.

Wonderful poem!
retired husband:.
after i retired, my wife insisted that i accompany her on her trips to target.
unfortunately, like most men, i found shopping boring and preferred to get in and get out.
That was hilarious!
remember reading at the book study once, think it was the evolution book, and miss read organism as orgasm.
it all went quiet nobody said anything and all continued.my future wife was there and her mother which made it worse, i even mis read it again in the next paragraph.i felt terrible and coulnt look up.laugh about it now of course..
That happened at a book study I was in years ago. The conductors little girl was reading a scripture that had organism in it several times and she kept saying orgasm. He could hardly keep a straight face and I just had to get up and leave the room. It was sooo funny but I felt bad for him.

I really like CD'S by Michael W Smith, 3rd day, anything inspirational. Also I like scented candles like cinnamon ,anything spicey. I also collect apple stuff. Wall hangings for the kitchen, etc. Hope that makes sense.
do you remember as a jw those pseudo-thanksgiving dinners we used to have?
you know the ones, where we ate turkey, dressing, and all the rest....but we did it on friday so we woudn't be celebrating thanksgiving like the "world"?
the excuse was that everyone in the family was off, the turkey was on sale, blah blah... well this year will be my first real thanksgiving dinner.
Glad to hear it went ok.
my family and i. f&#*ed up would not even cover how i feel about this.
i came to california for this?
.
Sorry to hear this. I had a pretty good argument yesterday with my mom so I know how upsetting they can make us feel. I'm still trying to get over it.
I'm glad you have all of us to talk to.
