this is a passage that has always bothered me, and was wondering if it bothered anyone else.
to me it sounds as though jesus thinks of some people as dogs and not deserving of anything.
maybe i have an incorrect view on this.
My view as one who believes the Bible is what it is because God made it so:
1. Matthew and Mark, in this instance, opened the door to the spiritual inclusion of those who would naturally be excluded. The law of love was shown as superceding the law of even Jesus' commission. An important rule to be remembered by all Christians.
2. It also highlights the all too evident superior qualities of the Gospel of John, a Gospel written for our day. In my opinion.
hi, iv'e never been able to understand the reasoning behind why god did this, genesis 11:1-8 why would god be threatened by people wanting to build a city.

jws are now being told that while they cannot accept whole blood or whole blood components such as red blood cells, white blood cells and blood plasma, they can if their conscience permits accept blood fractions.
i have thought quite a bit about how and why the accepting of some blood fractions and not others is supposedly a conscience matter.

This is good news actually. It shows they are all dried up. No one in the GB is able to take Fred Franz' place. They have no one who can take them from point A to B, anymore. I don't believe the Gospels are a word for word representation of the discussions Jesus and his disciples had. So for me, it's not what they thought when they asking Jesus about his return but why God saw to it that it be recorded as it was.

the hospital chaplain just called.
my baby's body has been returned to the hospital following post-mortem examination at a specialist children's hospital.
so, the funeral can go ahead soon.. we have opted for a cremation.
