  Like Priest said, almost impossible. I totally agree in principle, though. If only US corporations would move some of their manufacturing operations back to this country. Or even Mexico- they're so much closer, it's logical to think that Millions of $'s could be saved in shipping alone by moving ops south of the border. Plus, those folks need help...There was a time when we made EVERYTHING in this country. Now we hardly make anything here. Sad. -Potential

  so early this morning i had been working all night .

  just got done eating mickeyd's in my truck , getting ready to take a nap before driving , and this jw young lady in her early 20's knocks on my closed window !

  i put the window down and while forcibly handing the watchtower to me just says, " here is the watchtower !

  Good for you! Even if she dismisses it later, at least you planted a seed there. Funny, my friend told me a witness approached him in much the same way, with a memorial invite. He said he asked her a couple of questions about the org and she didn't know what to say! Goes to show that half the folks "in" don't even know what it's all about! :(

  i'm sure that the topic of armageddon has risen it's ugly head before but can anyone out there tell me when the armaggedon will happen (try to be precise please otherwise to me as a non-believer it will look like you're guessing) and has anyone got any concrete evidence of why and how it will happen?

If you're interested in wacko calculations that predict the day and the hour, I suggest you look for posts by OBVES and JCannon. They both think they have it all figured out. Ha!   i was a jw but left about 8 years ago, my husband wanted to go back so we have tried, i did not do so good.

  being gone so long just helped me realize this is totally false, i look at the jws as lambs being lead to their deaths.. fast forward to now, we are both in our 40s and i have had medical side effects from using birth control and other meds as birth control.

  my body can not take anymore, i have suffered breast cyst and uterus cyst, so i asked my husband who has an issue with using condoms because he does not reach a climax, and has to masturbate, to use something that would offer us a permanent result such as him getting a vasectomy.. his reaction is like why i feel even more strongly that jws are wrong.

  Just wanted to quickly address what Hope said, about possibility of tubes coming "untied" later. I dunno what goes on in Canada, but i think here in the states it's always done the way my procedure was- the tubes aren't actually tied, they are "burned" with a laser. No chance of knots coming undone! This is a safe procedure (if any medical procedures can be termed as such), with minimum down time and not too painful. Yes, it's selfish that he won't do the less invasive procedure on himself, but you can see from the other posts many men don't want anyone messing with their junk. He's just making up some bizzaro reasons why not to do it. -Potential

  i must say it looks real nice esp when it waves.

  i hope they do my street soon in the door to door work and ole glory waves at them proudly.

I display my flag when the wind isn't 90 MPH, like today! Got one on my car, too. 'Course, I never was a dub, so I have always had patriotic tendencies.   Troubled- I had the little turtles, too. Never got salmonella, yea! They were kinda fun, in their little bowl with the plastic palm tree...except when they escaped! -Potential
