I find it extremely entertaining to see funnymentalists deny evolution, especially 'macro evolution' as they term it but use it when it suits their fancy. Suddenly 'kinds' are genera that quickly evolved (on a scale that even the most die hard evolutionist wouldn't dare suggest) into all the species we have now (a reasonable estimate is 11.6 Million species)! This truely boggles my mind.

Well he [God] doesn't cause castrophies or miseries or sickness it is satan who causes such things.
That is a stange kind of reasoning! Not only does it make little sense, it also goes against the bible.
Is Satan behind plate tektonics? These movements are responsible for eathquakes. They are an intricate part of the earths make up since it ealiest beginnings, long before mankind appeared. So how does Satan feature in this?
Sickness is caused by bacteria, virusses, parasites and other organisms. If you believe the Bible, then God is the one that created all lifeforms. So how can you say Satan causes sickness? Does he have powers of creation? and if so why would God allow such? If Satan can create on his own why the need to tempt mankind? He could create his own followers!
On Jesus: History is largely silent on the matter (save some obscure passages). if you consider the Bible history, then why not the Koran, the Veda's, the Ylliad or any other simular writings?

Actually I believe admitting the kiss and e-mail contact was smart to do! This makes clear that right from the start you have been honestly admitting everything, you hid nothing so they can't claim you are hiding adultery. If they do try to put that on you, use the two witness rule against them. I would do anything to prevent her getting off scot free and able to remarry while putting you down! Whitout getting into details: that is something that happened to my sister, done by her former husband...

Like others have said already: when you find out you have been duped you make sure it doesn't happen again. I made sure that I do not believe in anything without solid or at least reasonable evidence/proof.
So I lack a believe in gods just as much as I lack a believe in gnomes, fairies or the lochness monster: because no-one has ever submitted tangible proof thereof to me. Also my own research did not lead me to conclude that any of them exist. Hence, I have no compelling reason to believe in such entities. I do however keep an open mind, and debate such questions to probe my own understanding and assumptions and to 'sharpen iron with iron'.
My thought on Jesus are the same as those on King Athur: I believe that deep down there is a kernal of truth, a real breathing historical person, but time, legend and myth have thouroughly distorted the true nature and image of the person. I certainly do not see Jesus (or whatever his name really was) as the son of God. I think he was a kind reformer of a brutal society, that killed him because of his efforts. After his death he grew into a Hero/God, his followers then attributed miracles and acts of others to this Hero/God. And so the tale grew into what we have now...
